OPK question? Two positives in one month?

Bit of advice please.

I use OPKs amoungst other things to try and chart my ov. I got a positive OPK on Monday am. and a negative on Tues am. That would have been days 14 and 15 of my 30 day cycle.

Just done another one this pm CD 16 and got another positive.

I also had ewcm on mon/tues which is now reduced/sticky.

How is this right? Have I ovulated already? Is it common to have more that one surge in a month? We have dtd daily but I assumed that I would have peaked by now - but it was a strong positive????

Confused - bloody OPK.

It is quite possible to have more than one LH surge throughout the month; not all such surges are automatically followed by ovulation.

Usage of OPK's is not without their problems and are actually best avoided.
