Amusing tips to conceive - today the doctor recommended staying 'stuck together' after sex

Title says it all really, today I saw a gynae about a non-ttc issue and mentioned not conceiving and he suggested that you remained 'joined together' for 5 minutes after sex. It was all I could do to not laugh

So what seemingly barmy advice have others been given, either by health professionals, well meaning friends or seen on the crazy world of the internet?

Also, did it work?

Doing 'bicycle' legs, with your hips in the air after sex, 'to help the little swimmers along!'

Does that stop it leaking out, like a plug? If you're busy you could invest in corks!

I meant bicycle kicks, whilst laying on your back with your legs and hips held up.

PlantASeed - it was American research from a few years ago I think he said it apparently takes 4 minutes to reach the cervix post ejaculation.

I think you'd need a long cork it is to plug the leak though.
