does anyone know if you can use the above for BBT? would you stick it in your ear or mouth?

Do not use this for temperature measurement. You can buy an ordinary clinical thermometer from the chemist.

Be mindful though that temping is not always reliable particularly if the menstrual cycle is irregular. In such circumstances charting is ill advised.
