Fantastic, Mollie! So happy for you

Good news from Camp Hol - not endometriosis, just a dermoid cyst. So once removed should all be fine. Just got the question over Mr Hol now - and he's being bloody useless about booking his appointment! Men... pah...

ClaireDeLoon · 03/06/2009 20:47

That's also very good news Shayera you must be very relieved!

stillstanding · 04/06/2009 11:32

PistachioLemon, thought of you and symptom spotting this morning: I was lying in bed when I suddenly thought "oooh my boob is really sore" and started to get really excited, baby fantasies in full swing etc before realising that I was just lying on DS's digger truck!! How desperate am I?!!!

ShayeraHol, that is wonderful news - so pleased for you - hopefully Mr Hol will be motivated to get cracking now!

ShayeraHol · 04/06/2009 18:41

Thanks both - am indeed relieved! Although to some extent would have preferred the problem to be me as that's more fixable, slightly worried that we're now looking more likely to be sent down the IVF route and trying to decide if that's the right thing to do or not. Mr Hol has been bullied into booking his appt which is the 24th, we won't know any more until July now.

Anyway, according to a link over on the right I'm selfish & spoilt as a childless couple! Isn't that exciting to know?

PistachioLemon · 04/06/2009 18:58

Shay, good to hear your news, bring on the 24th and hopefully the full sample test results will be better than the drop test results.

Oh, and I'm selfish and spoiled too apparently so you're in good company.

Stillstanding LOL at the digger I always think mine are hurting and then realise I've been poking them for half the day to see whether they hurt or not.

So far nothing, but I'm a bit crampy today so I think AF is on its way. Ah well.

Hi all.

With great sadness I am back. Found out this morning at my scan that there is no heartbeat and I am waiting to see if I miscarry naturally before a second scan on 115th June.

Have done all my crying, or at least all my main crying and 'why us' and just think it's better to get on with things so am plonking myself back in here to wait until I can try again.

Thanks to Mollie and Zen who sent me their best wishes in the ante-natal thread I was posting in and sorry to come back bringing bad news but onwards and upwards.

Hope all of you are well. I'll add myself back to the list when I know what the first day of my next cycle is.

beanieb · 04/06/2009 20:36

woops! 15th June

PistachioLemon · 04/06/2009 20:42

Beanie, I'm so sorry. That's shit.

ClaireDeLoon · 04/06/2009 20:42

beanie oh god I don't know what to say I am devastated for you we're all hear for you to listen to you when you need to talk

I'm so very sorry.

ClaireDeLoon · 04/06/2009 20:43

here obv not hear

Molliemooma · 04/06/2009 20:49

Beanie Be kind to yourself and don't be surprised if this really hits you hard at some point, like Claire said we are all here to support you Life is so shit

beanieb · 04/06/2009 20:51

shit happens guys am ok honestly. Trying not to cling onto any hope they have got it wrong. Don't want to bring you all down, just thought it best to get on with things and let people know what's happened so I can move on.

Might be absent for a bit as it's a bit of a waiting game but I will be back and trying again. x

beanieb · 04/06/2009 20:55

Thanks mollie. I am just pissed off at being back at square one and, after a good few weeks with all my bitterness disappearing and being able to just be happy, I am a bit scared that I will revert back to the old miserable me.

Have lots of support here (my poor mum is gutted though) and my usually crap boss has been great.

Molliemooma · 04/06/2009 20:57

Glad to hear you have got some support, how is DH holding up? Don't worry about disappearing for a bit, and at some point you will feel bitter and twisted but it does go I promise (eventually)

beanieb · 04/06/2009 21:05

mr beanie is going on his stag do tomorrow so shit timing all round. I am scared I will feel mega pissed off with him for going but I know I will feel even worse if I stop him. He's ok though. I had talked to him about what if the scan news was bad and he just thought I was being too negative

ClaireDeLoon · 04/06/2009 21:23

Is it a weekend thing? Can you stay with your mum?

Like Mollie says don't worry about disappearing and coming back as and when you like. You can't plan how you are going to feel, there isn't a timetable.

stillstanding · 04/06/2009 21:39

Beanieb, I am so terribly sorry. I know that I feel pretty bitter and twisted at the moment and that is because it is taking us so long to conceive. The thought of getting over that hurdle and then suffering a miscarriage is too hard to bear ... I can only imagine how awful you must feel and my heart goes out to you. I know that you are probably not ready to hear this but I know a lot of friends who have had miscarriages who fell pregnant again almost instantly afterwards - apparently it is something to do with the hormones etc. But I suspect that that must all seem irrelevant right now. In the meantime you are in my thoughts....

SparklyPseudonym · 04/06/2009 21:58

Beanie I typed a post for you 3 times on your antenatal thread but couldn't find the words. I'm so sad for you. M/c is such a cruel thing. Be prepared for a real mix of emotions - I put on a brave face and it took a while to catch up with me. I really hope things progress as quickly and as easily as possible. Lots of love to you and your DH. Am thinking of you lots xxx

jaamy · 04/06/2009 22:11

Oh Beanie for you and DF. I don't know what to say. Be good to yourselves and look forward to your wedding... Have you got a hen do coming up where you can let your hair down with the girls? On positive note (and I know it's poor consolation) you now know that you can get pg and if the scan on the 15th confirms today's scan then hopefully it won't be long before you've got another BFP. Take care x

Mollie - fantastic news! Look after you and babymooma. x

Shayera - glad that you can be fixed and that DH's appt is looming. We all seem to be waiting - for appts, scans or the dreaded 2WW!!!

Big WELCOME to Spinky (please don't be offended if I typo stinky! ) and Stillstanding. We've been able to see each other through lots of tears and happiness here. Here's hoping that you will only know the latter!

Big HELLO! to everyone else!!! Extra special big wave and encouragement to those on 2WW.

Sorry have been absent for a while - been on a lovely camping trip with the family. Can you believe the weather?? Nothing happening here. AF appeared a week ago. I'm sorry i haven't even been bothered to update stats. Don't have much hope of any findings on scan on Sat and with GP being so rubbish that will be it for us. I suppose I can't grumble with my lot.

ShayeraHol · 04/06/2009 23:04

Beanie - don't know what to say. So very sad for you, anything that we can say/do then just shout. WOuld echo what jaamy said though - I know it might not help, but now that you've had the +ve once then the odds have to be in your favour.

jaamy - use of the word "fixed" is suddenly making me thing about what people do to pets for the avoidance of baby pets . May stop saying that!

ShayeraHol · 04/06/2009 23:06

BTW my cat just tried to post a message... luckily he overtyped my password so it didn't work, that would have been verging on the incoherent (more so than usual )

jaamy · 05/06/2009 01:09

Sorry Shayera...here's to you and DH being unfixed!

Hope you get a good night's sleep Beanie x
