Hi.

Lastest weight is.....(drum roll, cymbal clash)...........

11st.

I have had a blip since 8th May. Back on track from today (she promises, sipping a glass of wine).

Am heading for 10st 4lbs before the end of July.

Like the new thread. Hope I am the last one at the top of the list for some time.

ShayeraHol · 27/05/2009 19:07

I'm also back on track from today - so we should inspire each other! I'm aiming for under 11st by the end of June.

zen1980 · 27/05/2009 21:04

Hey guys

Just dropping in quickly before off to bed will catch up proper tomorrow. Sorry not been around much but has been better to stay away an not been reminded.

Well had scan today and we saw bean just over 7 weeks with heartbeat!! So happy a step further than last time so have fingers crossed. Booked for 12 week scan on 1st July how far away is that!!

xx

ShayeraHol · 27/05/2009 21:10

Great news, Zen - must be a massive weight off your mind!

ClaireDeLoon · 27/05/2009 21:23

Zen fantastic. So very pleased for you, I really am.

PistachioLemon · 27/05/2009 22:43

Zen, that's absolutely wonderful news. You must be over the moon, the 12 week scan's really soon as well.

Blackrock you are good. Are you doing a particular plan or anything? Sorry you might have said already but I can't remember (memory like a fish at the moment because I'm too busy cramming my brain with other information).

Shay LOL at complaining about lack of sleep on a baby site! Hope you have a good catch up tonight.

Well ladies, I haven't any news really. CD17 today and I don't know if I've ovulated yet and my temps are all over the place. Who knows what's going on. I'm blaming it on pre-exam stress but odds on it is just my body telling me that this whole process is pointless at the moment and it'll get pregnant when it wants to and not when I try to make it happen. Hmmm that came out a bit odd! As you can probably tell, I'm feeling a bit blue this evening for some reason but I'm sure I'll cheer up in the morning.

Sleep tight.

Hi there all, sorry not been on here for a while. Am doing fine.

Am having my scan next Thursday which will hopefully stop some of the worries I have been having about if it's viable etc. I've not had any sickness yet and by my calculations am 7 weeks today so maybe I will miss the morning sickness all together!?

Infact am having very few symproms apart from a rather impressive bust!

Hope are all doing well?

PistachioLemon · 30/05/2009 12:04

Hey Beanie glad to see you're okay. Maybe you'll be lucky and not get any morning sickness at all but just have huge bazookas Good luck for the scan on Thursday - let us know how it goes, I'll be thinking of you.

Jaamy and Ei any news? Hope the witch has stayed away for you both, we need some more BFPs for the new thread.

Well, after my little [teensy] tantrum the other night it seems I may have ovulated after all FF is putting it at CD17 which as you can probably work out was the night of my bad mood. Maybe I need to add general moodiness to my ov symptom list! So I'm officially on the 2WW.

Glasto and M2O you must also be coming up to the 2WW, hopefully lots of trying going on... GOOD LUCK!

So beanie is another one for the growing list of scans next week! Although again, a way more exciting scan than mine .

Had a minor wobble on Friday again but am recovered now. Went out for a run with my "if I can't be pregnant I'll be skinny" head on which helped (Race for Life next weekend!).

Glad you've ov'ed, PL - what a symptom to add though!

Hope everyone else is having a good day (here, we are watching rugby, which thus far is NOT a good day!)

PistachioLemon · 30/05/2009 17:28

Afternoon Shay, good luck for next weekend. I'm supposed to be doing Race for Life tomorrow but when I booked it I didn't realise I had an exam on Tuesday so there is no way I can take the time off. Next time. I really enjoyed the last one though I was more of a snail (boobies get in the way of serious running) than hare. Got there in the end though!

Back from my scan. Nothing that could be causing the bleeding, one small fibroid apparently but wouldn't cause bleeding. My ovaries are fine. But apparently I have a bicornate womb

PistachioLemon · 02/06/2009 14:57

Sorry Claire. I was in pre-exam fog last night so completely forgot you had yours too today. Will they do anything further to investigate the bleeding further? And is a bicornate womb when your uterus is heart shaped?

ClaireDeLoon · 02/06/2009 15:43

PL how are your exams going? These are law exams aren't they? Good luck with them.

I will now wait to hear from the consultant, I suspect the next step will be a hysteroscopy (camera into the womb) under a general. And of course I have smear test results to come in teh next week or so too.

It's a heart shaped uterus yes, I started a thread in general health to get some info and people have been very reassuring.

stillstanding yes of course you can join us and a big welcome and lots of luck. Thirteen months is a long time have you been to the docs yet?

PistachioLemon · 02/06/2009 16:07

Hey Claire, I've just had a nosy on your general health thread - it sounds quite scary but reassuring that lots of people go on to have children. In a way its good that you know now so that when you do get pregnant again you can make sure it is monitored correctly. I guess you'll learn a lot more once you have your hysteroscopy. Did they say when that would be?

Exams are going okay (well remembered, yes they are law ones). The first one was this morning and I couldn't sleep last night for nerves, it was too hot and everything was just going round and round in my brain like a washing machine! It was quite a hard paper but I answered everything so hopefully that will be enough to pass. On to the next one now (although I have to confess I've been a bit lazy this afternoon because I'm so tired - might have a little nap and then start again this evening). I tell you, sometimes I think I'm absolutely bonkers, voluntarily putting myself through this at the age of 33. After this, that's it - NO MORE EXAMS!

Stillstanding WELCOME everyone here is lovely. I noticed you are on CD17, does that mean you're on the 2WW with me? We can symptom spot together!

M2O how are you doing? Are you on the 2WW too? Oooh lots of symptom spotting going on please.

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

Claire - 13 months is indeed a long time ... feels like forever right now! DS was conceived literally the first cycle with one go and while I knew I could never get that lucky again it never entered my head that I would still be struggling a year on .... arrgghhh.

I was trying really hard not to get too worked up about but finally persuaded DH that we should go to see someone. Our GP was absolutely hopeless - kept telling me that my weight was not an issue (whereas now I know it clearly is - I need to lose at least a stone preferably two) and sending me for blood tests at random times of the month - and so last week AT LAST we went to a private clinic for tests. It turns out that my right ovary is more active than my left (which is apparently normal) and that my LH (or FSH? Can't remember now ...) is a bit high. They want me to come back at the beginning of my next cycle to test my AMH levels. But the main problem they think is DH whose sperm has low votality (sp?) and only 6% normal shapes which is obviously not great news. They want to test him again but if it is the same as before they suggest that we go the ICSI route. Which is so depressing. Particularly as I think they won't let me do it until I get my weight down. Really can't believe that it has come to this.
