jaamy what was biscuitgate? Did I miss that while I had my head stuck in the sand and was avoiding MN boards (except for this thread!)?

So pleased to hear that you and DH are all loved up again...so sweet ...as you say, you never know, you might just get there (crossing fingers emotion). And a resounding 'no' you are not being greedy wanting to have another DC.

Thanks for the Selfridges scoop, but unfortunately, I missed the sale this weekend as we were in Norfolk visiting my sister's future in-laws. Hers isn't the super posh wedding by the way, but it's shaping up to be a brilliant shindig - I can't wait.

Talking of weddings, and dresses, I think I've seen a dress at Coast that I like, but am a bit worried that there's a high chance that someone else will have the same dress.

OP posts:
jaamy · 01/12/2009 10:04

PL - biscuitgate is here Mumsnet in the news again

I love family weddings...great chance to let your hair down. I bet it will be great.

I love Coast. Can you post a link to the dress so we can have a look? Get the dress and accessorize so even if there is someone there with the same dress, it won't be the same dress IYSWIM... Unless of course they are some kind of super model...

Am in a bit of a bad mood. Think is ovulation rage, which is no good if I'm supposed to be wooing DH. Hormones...who'd have 'em??

Hope everyone's not too cold.

Ei thanks for tip off about SA2's meet up. Not sure I can make it. DH due to go away with work and mum (babysitter) waiting to go in for op...we'll see.

I think my CD1 is imminent - cramps which I don't normally have. Strange how it's just like I remember from last mc too - my normal week of sore boobs has not appeared and it was exactly the same last time. I guess it must take a while for my hormones to settle back down.

Hope you're all OK.

Hi all,

am just changing my Cycle Days slightly as I am on CD 14. My mistake.

Just called IVF Wales for my latest FSh results. A bad 16. I knew it would be bad when the woman asked me how old I was before letting me know the result

she says they would be much more inclined to suggest IVF than IUI with a 'result llike that' as they would have to give me more drugs which would make me release more eggs.

Not sure if they realise that money doesn't grow on trees

IUI is our only choice.

we did get a call (DH took it) from the appeals people saying they had received my letter and we would know the outcome in a couple of weeks once they had got hold of my Notes from teh GP and had 'ascertained if you were referred too late' so I don't hold out much hope as it's not the lateness of teh referral but the length of time I was on teh waiting list which was an issue.

I feel like there is no hope at all for us.

Beanie I'm so sorry your FSH levels were not good will they repeat test? You've never had raised levels before have you? Hope your appeal gets you somewhere. Surely they can't discriminate against you because of their waiting lists?

Hello! Gone quiet on here. Hope everyone is OK and just too busy to post.

Ei - to see you at the top again, hun. Let's hope Santa has something in his sack for you.

beanie - I so hope you get somewhere with your appeal. Would be a nice Christmas present.

How's things with you, Claire?

All OK here, just playing the waiting game, again.

I have updated the stats and removed the BFPs. Hope no one minds but the last BFP we had on the list was June and all those babes should be here (or very nearly) by now. What happened to the times when we had at least one BFP a month??? I'm hoping that as soon as we have a clean, fresh list that names will start to appear on it.

Jaamy well done, I've been thinking of doing that for a while now!

I've been mega busy this week but next week is slightly clearer, thank goodness, as is the week after. Although that could be deceptive as I will be franticly cleaning the house in preparation for the in-laws Christmas visit, and my period is due then so hopefully I'll be over the grumpy stage by the time they arrive!

Apart from that no news really. No sex either so definitely no baby this month (I'm trying to be optimistic and hope that a miracle might just happen).

Oh, but I did find a dress for NYE wedding...drumroll... look here. I know it's quite boring, but with big boobs and bum, it preserves my modesty and is quite flattering so I'm very pleased with it

I'm wearing a gold shrug thing with it (to cover the bingo wings) so now I just need to decide on jewellery and shoes. Any suggestions?

OP posts:
jaamy · 13/12/2009 13:27

It seems I am on Santa's naughty list this year so won't be getting the present I wanted. And we've done everything right this month, too. Bah humbug!

PL - even without any sex, it's still difficult not to get your hopes up, isn't it! Maybe 3 wise men on camels will visit you this year.

Beautiful dress. Love the way it drapes at the back. I bet you look very elegant in it. I would think if you are wearing a shrug you wouldn't need too much around your neck, especially since the neckline of the dress is so lovely. Just a simple necklace. What about finding a brooch to put where the material gathers at the waist? Are you wearing anything in your hair? Ohhh, you must post us a piccie of you looking fab at the wedding. This is the first time in 3 years that we haven't had a Christmas wedding to go to. Bit confusing for the DDs, they have kind of gotten used to it.

Big wave to everyone! Where are the Christmas emoticons???

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to pop in and say I'm still thinking of you all. I haven't forgotten what the waiting and hoping is like.

I'm doing okay, 23 weeks now and bump is growing well, and kicking lots. have more scans and blood tests to check for risk of pre term delivery and thyroid function in January. they have finally decided my due date is april 24th. We shall see!

Hope you don't think i'm trying to rub it in, just wanted to keep you posted.

love
