Is it all in my head???

Hi all,
I am convinced i am pregnant. Its driving me insane. I had intercourse with my partner on the 25th of April. My period was due on the 30th. I did not have a period until the 10th of May, which lasted for two days. If i am honest the period was a such fire that i was not pregnant. However... the same symptons i had prior to my period, lower abdominal pains, frequent urination, increase in appetite, headaches and itching. I dont know what the itching means but its ever so annoying. Also as a black woman i recognise the nipple area has darkened quite a bit.
The reason i think this may all be in my head is because i did a test on the 5th of May and that was negative. I have not done any since.
If im honest i dont know how to feel if i am pregnant. Luckily i have a good partner and a supportive family, and i know my 6 yr old ds will be made up.
I know the smart thing to do is take another test, but what i need to know before i do this, is it poss to be pregs after a period??

Looking at the dates, it seems relatively unlikely, as there were only 5 days between intercourse and your period due date - are you certain it was due on 30th - are you regular as clockwork ?

However, if a 2 day period is unusual for you and was very light, then it could have possibly been an implantation bleed.

If you have conceived, then it is likely that your AF was due later than 30th April, so testing on May 5th may have been too early.

You won't know till you try another test
