Is it my period ???

Hi everyone

I think I have come to the conclusion that my period is here but I want to know whether anyone else has experienced this... my period was due on Monday and I woke monday morning to no pain and no period...very unusual for me tuesday morning very light brown when I wipe and only in the morning nothing there in evening...the same yesterday, no pain and never had a period like this I am usually very heavy and in a lot of pain... could I be pregnant?? do I do a test or is this just a weird period for me??

I would not be doing a test as yet as AF may be on its way.

Have you had both heavy and painful periods for a while now?. If so I would ask your GP to refer you to a gynae asap. You need a diangosis of the underlying problem. Its not something you should have to put up with.

Brown blood is "old" blood. WOuld also add that if your menstruation is consistently painful endometriosis may be the underlying cause.

Do seek medical advice asap, you will need to be persistant in order to get answers.

I have been checked out a lot I am fine just happen to experience painful periods only for the first day...I was told its quite common my mother was the same...the pain is relieved when I am on the pill but as I'm off it at the moment my periods have been heavier and had the first day pain...
