Hi

Last time it took four months for me and dh to concieve(but ended in miscarriage). Now starting the 7th month of our second attempt and just wondered how many get lucky in the second half of the ttc year? Although I'm almost 38 our doctor still thinks there is no need to worry till 12 months have passed without a conception. Does anyone have any positive experiences they can share to help those in the same boat?

Hello
it took us 12 months to conceive but that ended in miscarriage - then a further 6 months.(now have a lovely little boy ) i'm 34. what worked for us was ovulation sticks that you wee on - worked first time. i ovulated much later in the month than i realised.
good luck - it will happen x

5 years - finally conceived at 37. I would have thought that 6 months would be long enough to wait before going back to GP though...

i conceived first time, last may, but that ended in mmc. We have been trying since Jan, but with no luck, used the clerblue ov sticks this month and ov on day 11... earlier than i thought, so hopefully it will wk this mth!
