Ok bit of a long one so please hang on in there, as I think I really need help.

Been on pill for a while (approx 2 years) started taking a tablet which I knew didnt agree with the pill, so we were careful (so to speak) as hadnt decided then to ttc.

Had a period approx 2 weeks ago, been having mid cycle bleeding, one pill period and one perhaps normal period as pill not really working for about 4 months. Hope your with me so far

We then started ttc, I came of tablet and pill, had a withdrawal bleed but very light, brownish for approx 3 days (hardly anything).

I have done some research and found you should go off the last withdrawal period, which would make me cd11, due to OV cd13 apprx. However today, I have horrendous af pains and back ache, really does feel like the witch is comming.

Has this happened to anyone before. Am I maybe due on and should go from the period 2 weeks ago? Like I said confused.com

Can anyone help please?

Pains and backache could be a sign of ovulation.

You'll have to wait and see I'm afraid.

Also don't expect your cycles to go back to how they were before the pill immediately. It might take some time for them to become regular again.

Thanks MrsHappy

Lets hope so. I used to get a sharp pain in the side but cant remember back ache. I suppose it would feel different if your body had to start producing eggs again.

Exactly - for me it felt different after I came off the pill, and again after having my DD. I went through phases when my back ached, I got bloated and really bad tempered. So very attractive all in all , but the ideal time to have sex if ttc!

I know the last thing on your mind, when your in blumming pain.

Oh well could be a good sign, thanks again MrsHappy

I stopped taking the pill in january after taking it for 7yrs and for the last 4yrs taking it all year with only 1 or 2 breaks on advice of gynae consultant.

My first bleed was nasty very heavy and painful (reason I took it continuously!!) and lasted 9 days.

next ones was 7wks later and lasted 3 days and only 1st day was light

and last 2 have been about 30 days after the last and seem to be getting back in to a pattern and 1st 2 days are agony and heavy then they get better but still last 7-9 days.

Thanks eastmidlandsnightnanny

Well I think if I take it as being OV pain I am now 4 dpo. I am feeling really sick, hot and dizzy. But I just think that this is the hormones from the pill maybe?

Can I ask another question though? I don't temp or chart (will do next month I think) but I know I normally have a very low temp of about 35.5 (always have) and this morning on waking (before I got out of bed and still sleepy) I took my temp internally (tmi) and it was 36.7. So I am wondering if this means OV or am I getting sick?
