I really was convinced that i am pregnant (done it twice before;), lots of symptons, particularly the nausea and strange twinges. Day 28 and bang on i've started bleeding. It is very very light, but it must be my period. Yes?? Didn't have any bleeding in other pregnancies. Plus too coincidental that it's on day periods due.

Was so so sure that i'm finding it hard to give up the idea.

There is no other explaination of this bleeding is there?

I had very light (pinky,or brown)bleeding at the time my period was due ,with dd2. do a test,my GP convinced me I was miscarrying,but sent me to the EPU anyway,they said it was too early to see if the preg was viable,scanned me again ten days later and all was well-in fact she was two this week.

my bleeding is red (sorry tmi!)
did have some brown a couple of mornings

does red=period?

likely yes brown=old blood, red=fresh blood

I understood at the time that pink or brown can be just implantation bleeding but bright red is probably a period,but obviously colour is hard to quantify.My friend had pinky/red-ish spotting,her pregnancy was fine too.Have you done a test yet?

Erm no, plan is to test tomorrow morning, but it's clearly no looking hopeful. You can test despite any bleeding? It will still be a true "reading"?

it will be a true reading regardless of wether you are bleeding or not, there will either be HCG present + or none -

Why yes thanks for asking, i did test
But BFN. Gutted for most of day, but getting a grip now.

The plan was to get going end of this year, and hopefully have a lovely summer baby
Now i'm feeling i might not be able to wait EEK!
DH not quite so eager is the prob.

Aah well.
