Is day 2 or day 4 better for a day 3 blood test?

I have to have a day 3 blood test. I started spotting three days ago but af flow not come quickly as I thought it would so I think today is probably day 1. However it is v v light and possibly tomorrow will be day 1 - I'm a bit confused as in retrospect if period is very light this cycle (sometimes it is) then I'd say today day 2, but by the time I know that it will be too late.

Anyway I'm rambling. Shall I go for blood test tomorrow which could potentially be day 2 or shall I go on fri which might be day four? Is it better to be a bit early or a bit late for the day 3 test?

Going on Friday would be okay and won't make any real difference to the final result. When do you get this result ensure that the level of LH is compared against that of FSH and not just looked at separately.

Spotting between periods should be checked out further (it should be mentioned to the gynae) particularly if it keeps happening to you.
