TTC after a MMC

Hi All,

I had a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks, that was about 2 weeks ago. I know it is very soon but I do want to start ttc right away, I have PCOS and it took me a year to conceive so Dr has said that ttc straight away is ok.

I had to have an ERPC the day after I found out I had a MMC and all went ok and bleeding stopped after 1 week. I think that I ovulated this weekend (10-12 days) after the ERPC is that possible?

What I am wanting to find out is if anyone conceived straight after mmc, especially those with PCOS.

Hi Becks - I'm so sorry for you loss. I had a mc at 9 weeks and had an ERPC on 1st April. Apparently after a mc you are very fertile therefore you can conceive straight away. I have not had AF yet and am hoping that I may be pg already. I will keep you updated. Fingers crossed for you x

Thanks for replying, it has really put my mind at ease that I'm not the only person ttc right away! I thought people might think that I was a little weird wanting to try so soon after, but I think that this is my way of coping.

So sorry to hear about your MMC. I also had an MMC at 10 weeks two weeks ago.

I think I am going to ovulate in next week or so (no sign yet from OPK's and going to start temping tommorrow if I can find the thermometer!) I ovulate late in my cycle anyhow so not holding my breath!

Hi Becks, I don't have PCOS or any experience of it but just wanted to reassure you you're not weird! DH and I will be trying as soon as af appears (which will be my first after my mmc) I find it's really helping me to focus on moving on really hope it doesn't take you a yr
