Impantation bleeding after MC

I know no-one can give me a definate answer but would really appreciate your thoughts. I mc at the end of March and had D&C carried out on 1st April. Did b'ding on 14, 15 & 19 April. Last week I was very bloated and put on 7lbs - thought my period was starting on Saturday as there was a tiny bit of pinkish blood and a small bit yesterday but now it has stopped; weight has also dropped again. Am I clutching at straws thinking this could be implantation bleeding or is it just a weird cycle after mc.

Anyone?

I really hope it is implantation, it could easily be, you are not clutching at straws as that would be a reasonable thing to think after unprotected sex then spotting with no af, imo.
But then again women's cycles can be weird after mc, so you are in unknown territory unfortunately and I don't know if any of us can say. I went straight back into a normal period, but lots of posters on here have said differently.

If you tested after your erpc and got a negative test, then if I were you I'd do a test tomorrow morning. By then you'd be 16 days after the deed (at least) so should be showing a positive if you are pregnant.

My first af after mc was really heavy - didn't have any spotting beforehand. It sounds hopeful but there's not much you can do apart from wait!

Thanks girls - rubles I didn't do a hpt after erpc as I just assumed tht it would be negative, that the ERPC could have cleared everything out. I was told it could take 6 weeks for period to return so I'll leave it another week and see

I had a similar experience after a natural mc in November - just before Christmas, I had pinkish blood when I wiped - not even enough to do more than colour a pad. to start with, I was hopeful, but this ultra light bleeding went on for 5 days, so I eventually decided it was an anovulatory bleed

I had itchy boobs and was slightly nauseous. Things got even more confused when I did pee on a stick, just to rule out pregnancy so I could drink over Christmas - it came back with the faintest of faint positives, but the one the next day was negative I reckon I still had pg hormones sloshing around 5 wks after mc, so the bleed was just a clearout and my real cycle started up after I finally got a complete BFN - this mc was at 11+5 though, so lots of hormones leaving the body

Joolsiam, I'm so sorry for you loss . I thought I was 9 wks pg but I it had stopped growing at five weeks. Bleeding has completely stopped now so if nothing happen within the next week I will do a test

I never knew when the baby stopped growing as my MC was natural - in a way, I hope it was earlier, so that I don't have so long to wait to get past a milestone next time.

MC'ed again 2 weeks ago at 5+4, but I don't think that bean ever implanted properly as the bleeding was almost lighter than AF !!

Onwards and Upwards
