How similar were your conceptions?

Today's my first day of TTC our number two (DS is 19 months old), and I'm really curious to know whether people tend to have a similar experience second time round. Did it take a similar amount of time for you to get pregnant the second time? And do you know if it happened on a similar day in your cycle?

1st month with DD and same again 2nd time, but sadly miscarried that baby. Just had period for 1st time since mc so here's hoping! Good luck to you.

Both immediately. Because I wanted a girl 2nd time round conception was in ahem different position and slightly earlier in my cycle as recommended by Shettles - but of course have no idea if it really worked.

So sorry for your loss, Neeko. Hopefully with two such quick conceptions, though, it sounds like luck is on your side for trying again.

tvfriend, if DD was first then you must have been very chuffed that DS was so quick!

And I take it you got your DD, Heated? I'd love to have a little girl, so maybe I should be a bit more creative with my positions??!! Though according to my chart I conceived about four days before OV last time and still ended up with a boy, so bang goes that theory!

Yes, a dc followed by a dd. Shettles also recommends tweaking your diet a bit which I did. Tbh I don't think I would have bothered for more than a few weeks if we hadn't conceived straight away. Anyway hb said our sample is hardly representative and we need about another 20 more to show it wasn't down to chance.

A ds that should be, rather than dc.

Good luck with ttc no 2. We used to live in Maidstone but never could remember which was Kentish woman and which was Woman of Kent!

Heated, Men of Kent live to the east of the Medway, and Kentish Men to the west. We're pretty much on the Medway, but just to the west. If you were in Maidstone you'd have been on the Medway as well, I guess, so it depends which side of the river you lived on.
