new

I need to be strong, today I was thinking, "ooh only got 9 days to go, so when i could I test"

do not go to boots Repeat as necessary.

NewMember · 15/05/2009 21:39

LOL - this 2 WW is just awful tho - got a wee feeling this is not my month! Dont feel different AT ALL!

What about u?

liahgen · 15/05/2009 21:44

no, nothing. Infact I feel as if af is just around the corner.

When i fell just before xmas, my gums were really sore just before af due. Have been looking out for this ever since, nada.

What I did realise, is that even If i got pg this month, it would mean a whole month when I would be totally childless for 2 mornings a week for 7 years inbetween dd going to playschool in Jan and expecting baby in Feb. That will be wierd. What will i do with myself? Won't want to be cleaning stairs and such like being heavily preggers and all. Have to relax over coffee and cake me thinks.

NewMember · 15/05/2009 21:46

LOL - sounds like a gd idea!

Goodness me, I never thought it would be so hard and stressful trying to concieve

liahgen · 15/05/2009 21:49

I know. When i first wanted children many many years ago, it took 9 yrs to get dd1

dd2 was conceived straight after a mmc, and the other 3 were all in month 2 so am getting very impatient now. I am not getting any younger, and do sometimes have moments when I think, maybe it won't happen for us again. (and this is only month 3)

liahgen · 15/05/2009 21:50

OMG, just checked list and see you are ttc#1. 9 years is not the average, lol I had endemetriosis.

NewMember · 15/05/2009 21:59

I must say - i almost died when I read that HAHA - only kidding! lol

WorrisomeHeart · 16/05/2009 18:55

Thanks for the update NM - 7 more days before testing or arrival of AF for me, and am spinning wildly between symptom-spotting like mad, and being convinced that there is no way it's this month!!

Went out for lunch with the inlaws today and had a not very impressive bangers and mash which made me nauseous. Am now of course convinced that it's baby-induced lol! Should have just had a salad and stayed sane (ish...)

How's everyone else's no-testing resolve holding out?

leonifay · 16/05/2009 20:19

hi everyone, could i join the back of the bus? i've just had a mc at 6 weeks, and am compleatly devistated. i've not stopped crying all day.
i'm not sure yet if were giong to start trying stright away or if were going to wait a while but just wondered if i could sit quietly at the back of the bus?

Leonifay I remember you from the January thread. Really sorry to hear your news. Plenty of women go on to have healthy pregnancies after a mc. They are very common, although I know that doesn't help right now.

Welcome to this thread, we're all here for you x

HappyBump · 17/05/2009 05:14

worrisome heart ... I am CD23 and my resolve not to test is strong but I am driving myself nuts with symptom spotting. Only a week to go until I test or AF arrives.

I'm CD28 today so waiting for AF to arrive any day I've gone off tea like I did in my first pregnancy so am symptoms spotting like mad but it's probably all in my mind!

difficultdecision · 17/05/2009 09:23

NewMember · 17/05/2009 12:35

stephiepug · 17/05/2009 17:45

leonifay · 17/05/2009 18:28

thankyou every one for your hugs, feeling so much better and alot more positive today and we have decided to start trying as soon as we are able

WorrisomeHeart · 17/05/2009 18:49

Good for you Leonifay. Hope you keep smiling, and welcome back to the front of the bus!

Squarah · 17/05/2009 21:16

I gave in and tested yesterday...BFN (of course)! But I am totally convinced that I'm up the duff - tea tastes funny, knackered and nauseated except for just after eating and a funny womby feeling that I had last time. Feels just the same as my first pregnancy.

Now the question is how long to wait before testing again?! I think I'm going to on Tuesday and then on Friday. Am I awful? Have the tests so no extra cost to me. Am also beginning to think I'm a nutter for going for an 18 month gap between babies. Everyone says how hard it is initially. Anyone have any experience of that?

Glad to hear it leonifay! welcome to the bus stephiepug - I've added you and your CD and left the rest blank so you can fill it in yourself. The lingo used to confuse me but I've got it figured now.

(eg I'm TTC2 (as I have a DC already) I'm cycle1 as it's our first month TTC, usualy cycle length for me is 29-35 days hence UCL 29-35.)
