My cycle was always 28 days and both times I conceived I had had sex at the tail end of my period. So I'd say its perfectly possible.

can think of several MNers this has happened to

there is always a chance , depends whether you were tring for a baby or not really , what you do next.. i.e if you can get teh MAP or coil fitted to prevent implantation if enough time

Yep. Conceived DS on Day 7, DD day 10-ish.
