About six months ago I was diagnosed with a degenerative fibroid in my uterus, which was causing me quite a bit of pain. It's now a hell of a lot less painful, though the pain hasn't gone completely. I went for another check-up with the consultant the other day and told him that we are planning to start TTC our number 2 (DS is now 18 months). He said that the fibroid shouldn't interfere too much with conception/pregnancy, but that I might need more antenatal care than usual.
Just wondered if anyone else has experience of TTC/pregnancy with a fibroid, and can share any advice/experiences?
