I was so excited about hollyoaks BFP, that I ran off to test too! BFN for me tho Dont know whats going on with my cycle its now day 30!
Might start doing the temp thing not sure how it works tho!! Oh well come on af show yourself lets get it over with!

April Yeah it was me on the June bus, got my bfp on Thursday night but wasnt convinced as line was so faint so retested again over the weekend. This time the line was stronger but still faint so will go to gp on Monday. Showed ds the pg test and she saw the line as well so not imagining it.

Try another test if af doesn't arrive by Mon/Tues just in case your hormone levels weren't high enough. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and everyone else.

Right girls this might be a bit TMI but I'm not sure whats going on!!! I thought AF had got me yesterday morning but still not here properly yet. Just been spotting and its really dark like its old blood. Also dont have the really bad pains as normal, just a bit of backache.
What dose that mean?!

april that sounds like implantation bleeding which can be browner in colour. When are you due to test?

Whitty So sad for you!! I know my hormones are all over the place but have cried buckets reading through posts that I've missed.

Am so glad you're ok and able see positive points of such a loss. I'll be honest and say you're stronger than I!! All the best darling.

hollyoaks I tested saturday with an ebay cheapie and got a BFN. But saying that i did bleed like this for 2 weeks when pg with DS.
Going to hold off testing again till maybe thurs or fri, We are of to a wedding friday so best test before then as i will probably have a drink or two!!!

kaylo how are you feeling? morning sickness kicked in yet?!

April I'll be totally honest and say I don't feel pregnant at all. In fact I may be coming back to conception - I started bleeding last night and am still bleeding now. Am very very sad and I'm terrified. I did a CBD and it says the same thing it said a week and half ago - which to me isn't a good sign, says 1-2 pregnant. Should have gone up by now

I know that wasn't the answer you expected and I'm sorry to be depressing on what is a very exciting time for all of you waiting to find out if it's a BFP or not.

I wish you all the luck and babydust in the world. I may come back in a while when I know whats happening - got an early pg scan on Thurs so will keep you posted.

Hi all I am a newbie! Been reading threads but never messaged before. I am 6dpo and I was sure I had cramps but no spotting I am shattered but work in a stressful job and have been ttc for 5 months any slight change
I seem to go omg I'm pg but then not...people tell me to chill out but each month I don't av the patience and have used so many tests! Am I going crazy? :0

Kaylo- I have everything crossed for you!!!! When i was pg with ds i bleed for two weeks and had an early scan. Try not to feel to down untill you know for sure, easy to say hard to do i know. As for the test they can be wrong. Good luck for thurs, will be thinking of you.

Bigbird- Welcome! Think we have all gone a little crazy on here so your fit in well! Its an exciting time and i too have used loads of tests! Have you tryed ebay? get lots of cheap ones!

I've just tested again! Was going to wait till thurs or fri ops!!!! I THINK i've just had a BFP I used a cheap ebay test and there is a very very very faint second line!!! Left it on the table for DH to find while i'm at work, best get him to check incase i'm seeing things!!!!!!!

Hi All!!! I joined the thread at the beginning of the month but have been away on holiday in greece. While on holiday i had a missed AF so tested with a greek kit (thankfully had english intructions!!) it was positive - (digital test in UK said 2-3wks) i was totally delighted until i got home today...

Opened a letter from my gynae consultant saying that my MMC in july has been diagnosed as a partial molar pregnancy now i dont know what to think as i should have been gettin gregular hormone tests and it is strongly recommended for you to wait 6 months after normal levels (at least) before TTC as the tissue can grow back and there is a risk of it being cancerous (although very slim with partial molar) i am now so frightened at a time i should be excited.

I am booked in for blood test and scan tomorrow. I may not even be pregnant, it may be the tissue growing back. Has anyone undergone something similar?

April congratulations . My line was also v v v faint but I showed it to my sister who saw the line too (so I wasn't imagining it). Hope your feeling well.

Den26 I'm so sorry to see that your having a tough time. I know nothing about molar pg so can't offer you any advice but hope that its really the bfp that your looking for.

kaylo heres some more support from the ttc board. Hope the scan on Thursday gives you some reassurance. Your latest news seemed positive. All of my fingers and twos are crossed for you.

hollyoaks Have you tested again? or are you planning to? I did another cheapie this am with first morning wee wee. There is def a second line and it was darker then yesterdays!!!!(Still v faint tho) Think i'm going to do a CBD at the weekend or maybe friday if i can wait that long!!!!!!!!!! cant help getting excited!! Never throught it would happen this quickly (3 months!) It took 9 months with ds! It must be nice to have a sister to chat too, DH dose not want anyone to know untill 12 weeks not even my mum and dad!!!!! So you girls will have to hear everything!

April I did three all over the weekend though all three were faint but lines were definately visible. Still had no bleeding and feel like crap so still pg based upon that. I don't think it feels real until the first scan anyway.

hollyoaks Feeling a bit crappy myself! boobs getting sore too! My spotting seems to have stopped to now. Its now the long long wait for 12 week scan. Have you been to the doc's yet?
Really want to tell the world i hate secrets!!
I have no idea when due, DS was 6 weeks early so could even be April! Might go to doc's next week they can work it out.
I'll keep an eye on the may antenatal just incase, thanks.

April went to see midwife yesterday, it was meant to be a group session to get us our booking in appointments and handout information etc... but I was the only one who turned up so had my booking in appointment and bloods done then. Now I have my maternity notes it feels really real. I also have an appointment with the GYN consultant as I had high blood pressure last pg and an appointment with a councellor to discuss my last labour and the loss of my nephew last year.

You can work out your dates using the MN dd calculator, its the same as what the gp will use.

kaylo hope friday comes quickly for you. I haven't read the May thread yet, but hope your ok. Have you stopped bleeding?

Hi All, April and Hollyoaks congratulations!!!

I thought i would update you...
Went for ultrasound scan yesterday. Staff very apologetic that they had missed the molar pregnancy and re looked at the scans. They all thought it was a 'normal miscarriage' so there was no follow-up monitoring of hormone levels. The ultrasound showed that i was pregnant again and no left over tissue was noted from previous pregnancy which is good.

They did an internal scan to make sure and all was very positive. They said i am around 4.5 weeks pregnant and no signs of molar issue which is great, i also had a negative pregnancy test around 4-5 weeks ago which they said was encouraging as hormone levels must have been very low.

They will scan me more regularly just to make sure and they reassured me that there is no more risk to this new prgnancy than any other, so fingers crossed all goes well this time.

Its nerve wracking when its so early on - 12 weeks is soooo long...

Hollyoaks Wow! Notes already! I want some! Got a CBD in tesco today so going to use it in the morning. It's worth spending £10 when your pretty such it will be postive! Wondering if the doc's will keep closer eye on me this time as DS was 6 weeks early? Did the MN calculator and it says 28th may! How about you?

He He! Thanks hollyoaks, not much to see yet but atleast i am reassured fo rthe minute. Have another scan in 2 weeks to monitor things. Are you able to get an early scan or do you have to wait for 12 weeks? It sucks eh?! ;)

Bit confused about dates as doc worked out that i am 6 weeks, the igital test says 2-3 weeks and the nurse who scanned yest said she thinks 4.5weeks!!!! I'll go with scan for minute!! Have to get on the due date calendar!

I did the MN calculator and it says 16th May!! This is the first time i've actually thought about when i'm due with everything going on - how exciting!!!

Den Does the digital test not measure from conception and the medics will date from first day of last period. If thats the case the scan and digital test would be about similar I think! Think I'll have to wait till 12 weeks and I know it won't seem really real until then.

april MN calculator says 28th for me too, midwife said 27th but didnt take into account cycle length. I'll go with midwife though as her dates earlier I would imagine you'll be under consultant care as ds came early. I've been referred for high bp towards the end of my last pg which didn't really cause any problems.

Miscarriage was confirmed today - I'm ok about it - I've done my crying and I'm ready to start to TTC rollercoaster again.
