well the docs have said to go in on saturday for more blood tests to check if the hormone is rising or doubling properly!! then depending on the result will determine whats next!! i hate this waiting game [anxious acronym]

I know what you mean suzi there is always something to worry and bite your nails about. i really hope saturday brings you good news.

bubble it was the receptionist who gave me my result. She said it said on the notes "progesterone ? did not ovulate".i will ask for more details when i go on monday-i was just too shocked to think straight. I agree our situations are very similar. It must be some sort of hormone problem cause i have recently noticed a few coarse dark hairs on my jaw which i have been plucking out only to have them reappear a few days later.this is but ive noticed some longish hairs onmy chest

seany i normally get my results off the receptionist too and if they look at the form sent back from pathology then it will have the progesterone level on it. maybe call tomorrow and someone on here can usually help. atilla is fantastic when it comes to technical questions. ((Im a hairy mary too dont worry )) i just hope that you get some anwers soon. i know that when i got my progesterone levels back last cycle i was so disheartened. i felt like i had been trying for nothing... fighting a losing battle as it were... but stay happy... i know it will happen soon... you deserve it.

I have been using opks and up until today there has only been 1 line. today ive had a few twangs down below and a small amount of ewcm((nowhere near the normal amount)) then my opk had a line on it but not a positive iykwim. gonna get busy anyway just for the fun of it

I dont know whats going on with my body, my boobs are heavy and uncomfortable today and they keep tingling (they dont usually get like that before af), also i had alot of cm today . any idea why i would get this so late on in my cycle?

seany just because the levels on day 21 were low doesnt mean you didnt ovulate this cycle. you could of ovd later and there fore that would explain why your cycles are irregular. it could be that you ovd after day 21 and these are pg symptoms or you could be ovulating now. Keep goin babe. you could ovulate at anytime. I suppose the only way you will know is when AF makes an appearance or doesnt

Im using the cheapies.... i prefer them.. the CB 1s are tripe and def not worth the £20 when i can get 20 for £3 on ebay.

well... its day 14 and im expecting a + opk. im getting all the signs now.. achey down below and high cervix position. Im hoping that something happens soon.

DHs sperm test results should be back today too. im nervous.

Im sure the results will be fine bubble, let me know what happens.

DHs results arent back will have to call again on monday. ((worried coz i was supposed to wait til results were back to start the clomid but i just couldnt wait ))

Weeeelll i rang my gp and he said (and i quote..)"off the top of my head i think the level was 2, we will probably just do the test again next month" WTF!!!!

A change of gp is def in order, the man is useless!!

Bubble try not to worry too much- I wouldnt have been able to wait either to start the clomid.

Seany That is definatly a posibility. that would explain the low level and your symptoms now.

I would try

telling him you want your dp to have a sperm test. ((they wont give you any treatment until a problem with him is ruled out and it could speed things up if you got it out of the way now))

explaining that you have been activly ttc for over a year. temping and using opks etc. you know there is a problem and you feel he is delaying the inevitable. you want to be sent for a scan to check for pcos.. explain the hair etc. you want a blood test to check your fsh and lh on day 3 and then day 21 progesterone. you also want him to refer you to a specialist.

If he wont do it then def change dr. Write everything down and take it with you. shows him you mean business and you wont forget anything when he annoys you

i had 2 progesterone tests before they decided to help. i bought taking charge of your fertility and there is a pull out section to take to your gp (which i took with me)

I hope they help you soon seany, i found being assertive got me what i wanted. they are there to help not make you feel worse.

Sorry I haven't been around, I had my exam (don't think I did very well) and been trying to look for another job. By the sounds of it it seems like everyone one has had a few problems of their own though . Suzi I hope everything goes well for you and little bean- im sure it will . Seany I def agree with Bubble, you need to go to your G.P and demand some answers. Im sure by being more assertive something will get done and after reading your last thread there prob is a strong possibility that you ov'd l8r on in cycle- thats what I do im never when i should be. Day 21 progesterone's are for those who ovulate normally i think. If they did a day 25/27 im sure they would see something different. Bubble I have my fingers crossed for dh results- i hope everything is fine. Hope Reggie is settling in well. I am in a little predicament with work. Am desperate to change jobs but know if I do I may have to hold off with the Clomid I really don't want to do that but work is making me so miserable I don't think I have a cat in hell's chance of ttc feeling this way. Anyway sending babydust out to you all xx

lou im sorry ur having such a hard time at work. My heart goes out to you cause i know how hard it is when your job is getting you down, never mind having the stress of ttc on top of it all. try not to worry too much about your exam,im sure you did fine x

af was due today but still no sign of her yet. guess that ties in with my late ov theory.wish she would just show up so i can get on with things. Im having cramps so she is def on her way,just taking her merry time obv.

well went for more blood and my hcg is at 1ooo, they done a scan and they saw the sac ....... still got the next hurdle which is to wait nine days, have another scan to see if they can see the yolk!! Im very pleased with the progress!!!

louise sorry to hear about your plans to hold off ttc , but maybe it will be less stressful when you are happy in a new job... it might help with ttc a lot!! good luck

Have docs app this afternoon to discuss what happens next.

I tested this morning but got bfn so i know i am not pg. Dont know if i mentioned this but i actually got the progesterone test done on cd23 and as the level was only at 2 it is prob really doubtful that it was done too early and i had late ov. Im confused, don't know what to think.

I know that af is def on her way as my bbs are still really heavy, one of my nipples is killing me (eh?), and im getting sporadic cramps. Also i have been dog tired (i know these are classic pg symptoms but im not kidding myself, i know how my body likes to play tricks on me).

So i guess its just hanging around waiting for af to show up, and then onwards and upwards for me..

Seany I know how you feel re not getting hopes up when you are getting pg symptoms. But also remember that it ain't over til it's over. Re hurty nipple thing- aren't our bodies weird? I've only got those little bumpy things that you get in pregnancy on one nip.

Suzi I'm so glad everything is looking good with your pregnancy. What a worrying time you've been having.

As for me, I had another bleed at the weekend- cue much panicking- but a scan this morning showed my little bean pulsating away at 7w+ and 11mm long. Very very relieved. Would like it to settle down now and stop making me bleed/worry!

I got a + opk sat but decided to just stick to the everyother day rule. (dr said its best to do that til we get dhs sperm test results) so have been getting busy on days 11,13,15 and 17. TBH im getting F*^%ed off with ttc and i think i mite jack it in...

Hey ladies I missed you all...I havent tested...Im playing the waiting game...Im getting ready to ovulate if Im not pregnant...but I have gained like 2lbs this month...my arms are getting kind of big...guess its all the eating while depressed and lonely...anywho...I'm trying to wait as long as possible to test...Im so tired of being disapointed this is now my 7th cycle...ugh I thought i would have succeeded by now..

Anywho I have a lot of cathcing up to do being as though I was gone on a holiday...but I hope everyone is well...

Bubble im ok thanks. Went to docs yesterday and he agrees that the progesterone test was prob done too early which was why level was so low. Af has still not showed up so i have to go back on thur and get another blood test to check if im pg. I will get results on friday and if im pg then HAPPY DAYS, but if not then i've to go on monday for an internal examination and a smear. And if af does show up before then, then i've to go when it disappears for the internal and smear. Either way im getting someone sticking their hand up my doo da lol

The only way I have resisted is because...I have stayed off of here...and off of google. The good thing I can only say is I have had 30 days of high temperatures....and 3 days of spotting...

So I try to stay positive and now that my LOVE is back I BD every chance I have he came back just in time for ovulation this month...so excited...

seany I hope your test brings us good luck..and you get a fabulous BFP...
