Hi girls,

awww no bubble you must be tearing your hair out waiting on af

We ended up not booking a holiday abroad. We have decided to go to galway for a few days in july for dps birthday and then get away somewhere else for a few days around september time.

Ds is back at nursery today and his ear seems to be getting better thank god, though i think he is getting back teeth as well. Hows your ear whitty?

good luck for tomorrow rtuff. Lucky you getting to go to dubai!! it looks gorgeous but i don't think i would be able to stick the heat.

Hows everyone else doing today?

seanybosmummy · 19/05/2009 15:30

Oh forgot to say my head is better today, thanks bubble. Im still pretty tired though-think it is prob due to all these changes in the weather.

I have a driving lesson later on and it is such rotten weather outside that i couldnt be arsed going out in it.

what u girls doin tonight?

Rtuff · 21/05/2009 08:38

Hi girls

Hope everyone is okay today?

Well i got my bloodtest results yesterday and it turns out that i did ovulate this month, which i was really pleased about. I have done about 4 (which all were done on the wrong day) of the day "21" bloodtest and they didn't have levels high enough to prove i was ovulating but when they tell you to do the test exactly 7 days before your next cycle how do i guess when that is when i have irregular cycles... but still at least i got the right day this month!!! yey!!!! So thats one more test out of the way to find out why we still haven't conceived... But you never know this month could be the month!! Saturday will be D-Day or should i say HPT-Day.....

Anyway enough of my ramble, how is everyone else today??

Rtuff · 21/05/2009 08:39

Oh my goodness, that was a load of gobbledy goop!

Antdamm · 21/05/2009 10:19

HELLO LADIES.

Sorry I have been AWOL for so long ,very long story. but I have just had my internet connected ten minutes ago and have been reading all previous posts. We moved house on the 4th (that was the easy part), we got word our tenants in Scotland vacated the premises, so we had to go check out the state of the flat for getting it rented out again.
It was a TIP, DP had to come back to Ireland for work, so I stayed with DS to tidy up, I had to get new furniture, new carpets and repaint almost every single wall. It was a nightmare, they had destroyed our garden, had to replant loads of plants etc. But now, after a week and a half of solid decorating by myself, it looks lovely and ready to move into, I wish now that the people who i showed around it were looking for a furnished flat instead of wasting my time asking if i could take out nearly all of my furniture but leaving my washing machine!!

Now that thats over. Down to the nitty gritty, I started taking agnus castus and had a 19day day gap between AF's visits!! so my stats to be added to the list are:

Antdamm TTC#2 UCL ?? cd6

Nothing else to report, glad to hear that most people are okay and still coping with the seemingly never ending rollercoaster that is TTC. Bring on the BFP's!!

Sorry, I havent said HI to everyone individually, I still feel like I could sleep for a week. I'll be more talkative once i shake the exhaustion off.

Thanks for listening

Its good to be back

whittywantababy6 · 21/05/2009 12:54

seanybosmummy · 21/05/2009 13:49

Hey girls,

Welcome back ant-we missed you . Sorry you had a hard time with the tenants from hell, but glad to hear you got things sorted in the end-good for you going and doing all that decorating on your own!

Well girlies it looks like i am out for this month-i have quite heavy spotting. Im only on cd25, though if i count from 1st day of spotting last month it would make cd30 so im a little confused.

I am absolutely devasted. We bd faithfully every other day this month so i don't know where we went wrong. Im convinced there is something wrong as this will now be cycle 13 for us. I don't know where to go from here because every time i mention it to my gp he keeps fobbing me off with "a year is not that long". I feel like shouting at him "a year is a long time to me you insensitive asshole".
Any suggestions as to what i could do now would be appreciated.. tia

Rtuff im really pleased to hear you got positive results from your bloodtests-fingers crossed for your bfp

We really need some more bfps on here to cheer us all up.

thats crap that you're having a bad time at work whitty-hope it perks up soon.

bubble how was your pizza and ice cream?

I had to take ds to the hospital yesterday and we waited 2 and a half hrs on him getting checked-turns out he has a burst ear drum the poor child.

OP posts:
Rtuff · 21/05/2009 15:48

Seany Sounds like you having a bit of bad couple of days.

Can you get a 2nd opinion from another GP? Aparently, when you've been trying for 12 months then that is the time to start having "investigations" into why you haven't conceived, ask them to do a day 3 bloodtest which tests for PCO's and a day 21 bloodtest to see if your ovulating, but i would definately go to another GP...

whittywantababy6 · 21/05/2009 16:04

I agree seany seany get a second oppinion...and the poor baby burst an ear drum that has to hurt...12 months is a long time most doctors start investigating at 12 months. Try to remain posiive ok. We got your back

seanybosmummy · 21/05/2009 16:45

thanks girls, my head is just all over the place today. whitty the little "we got your back" at the end of your post made me giggle xx

Im wondering if my local health centre may be able to refer me somewhere as i dont want to go back to my normal gp for obvious reasons.

rtuff the day 3 bloodtest-does this have to be done on cd3?

OP posts:
Rtuff · 21/05/2009 17:00

Day 3 bloodtest can be done between day 3-5 and the Day 21 has to be exactly 7 days before AF is due.

I reckon it's definately worth a try going to your local health centre and see what they say, if not is there another doctor at your practice that you could go and see and tell them your not happy and want things done. Is your GP a lady?? maybe go and see a female doc if not...

Keep your chin up... last option... Go and sit by the reception desk at your Doc's and don't move untill they agree to do something

Bubblebell1 · 22/05/2009 09:41

Hi girls!

seany big hugs to your ds. a burst ear drum is awful. my ds1 has suffered with them a few times. I hope he gets better soon.
I would def get another opinion. 13 months is a long time and are entittled to some help and support.
With regards to the spotting... you could still be lucky this month.. dont give up babe.

whitty i hope your ok.

rtuff thats good news about your bloodtest. fingers crossed for a bfp this month.

ant Welcome back sorry to hear of your tennants from hell. glad your cycle is getting shorter

Well im off on holiday tomorrow!! cant wait busy today taking cats and rabbits to the animal hotel. I will see you all when i get back xxxx

seanybosmummy · 22/05/2009 13:17

awww thanks bubble. im going to see if i can get docs app for monday and take rtuffs advice about not moving til they agree to do something
Ds is a lot better thank god, hes getting back to his normal self.
make sure u relax and have a great time on your hols!!! xx

OP posts:
whittywantababy6 · 22/05/2009 13:36

hey all...im great happy to see everyone is in a better mood...Im also leaving for my holiday so excited...today I feel alot of pressure...in my tummy dont know why hope somebody gets BFP this month go us...lol Im our number 1 fan enjoy your days

whittywantababy6 · 22/05/2009 13:55

ok ladies should I test again...my cp is high and soft...lots of creamy cm...and cramping...and my temp has been up 3 consecutive days way above my coverline...need your help

seanybosmummy · 22/05/2009 15:45

Hi whitty, your symptoms sound pretty positive, though im a bit clueless where temps, cp etc are concerned. You're on cd24 isnt that right? The sensible thing to do would be to wait a few days, but if i was in your position with the symptoms i would be rushing for the early detection hpts aisle . I really hope you get a bfp, we need some good news on here.
Where are you off to on your hols?? Im so jealous, im not getting away until july booooooooooo
