Is ovulation on CD16 or later possible?

AF arrived on CD31 last month - no BFPs so no chemical pregnancies or anything like that

Am now on CD 19 and showing signs of ovulation - heavy boobs and ewcm...just wondering if its possible to ovulate later than expected?

Cycles pre DS were spot on with ovulation around CD14/15 and being very obvious...not so much now

Absolutely possible. The time between ovulation and your af is usually the same but you can ovulate at any time and it can be affected by stress, bfing, hormones etc.

When my periods returned after having dd I ovulated very late in my cycle. It gradually settled down though.

I mean length of time between ovulation and period (luteal phase) is usually fixed so if you ovulate late, your period is late.

Oh yes. My usual cycle is between 29 and 32 days, with ovulation around CD16-19. But one month I conveived after ovulating on CD24 (my cycle would have been 37 days long that time). That month I went on holiday, I had a sore throat and I was getting over a cp, so ovulation was delayed.

That makes absolute sense to my cycle actually as when I've had a feeling I've ovulated later, AF is later...ooh...must jump on DH tonight then

I don't tend to produce as much ewcm post DS either, whereas before, it was very obvious I had it. Maybe its just that my body has changed since having a child (DS is nearly three btw)

Well, until recently I always thought I ovulated on day 14 reg'lar as clockwork. You can imagine my surprise when the scan lady told me I was a week less far along than I thought. I thought my last period came on November 2nd, ovulating Nov 16th, but according to the scan I can't have ovulated until Nov 24th. [ confused emoticon ]
