help with day 21 progesterone test pls!

Im having day 21 bloods taken but... day 21 is a sunday and day 22 is the bank holiday monday..
so do you think i should go on day 19 or 23?

Hi Bubble, you need to count back from your estimated AF date 7 days, does this still fall over the weekend? I would go with which ever is closest, and if in doubt phone your Dr.

sorry bubble i forgot your cycle was so unpredictable, what I did was wait until I got a positive OPK and then counted 6 days after when I expected to ov. Mine isn't as bad as yours, but still hard to predict to the day. Do you normally have a consistent lutal phase?

Hiya Girl... my cycles have been getting shorter. ive had since coming off the pill in oct a 68, 46 (with mc) and 26 and 28. fingers crossed that things are getting back to normal. the last 2 months my lf was 12 days so was thinking to perhaps go on cd23?? bank holiday monday is 1 wk before af is due so would the next day make much difference?

My 21 day fell on Good Fri, so I went on day 20. The doc said any day from 18 to 23 is okay. They took three vials of blood for me. Let me know what they take for you - and what they are for. I was distracted with my DD and didn't ask. Doh! i was trying to be brave in front of her and not faint (I hate blood tests!)

Apparently you need to go mid luteal phase (so for me mine was 5 days post ov and 5 days pre af as I have 10 day (short) phase)

Just adding that because I nearly went 7 days prior to af which would have been only 2 days after ov and not much use I think!
