Weeing in night affecting first morning urine...?!

This is my first post and it is a slightly strange question

I have had a few symptoms of pregnancy so I am planning to buy a test tomorrow/Tuesday. I have read that it is best to test with the first urine of the morning but every night this week I have woken up during the night (any time between 2 and 5 am) needing a wee. Is this officially my first wee of the day or should I wait until I wake up in the morning?

I have no experience but if you wake at 5am I would use/save that one. Any earlier I would wait until the actual morning.
