PME please, please stop testing for now. Really, honestly, you're not going to get an accurate result so early and the tests are so expensive it's just a waste AND it'll drive you nuts, especially if you're checking the tests and not knowing whether you're seeing evap lines or BFPs. If you wait until your period is due (or even CD28 if last month was just a long month for you) then at least you can be reasonably confident of the result - whatever it is.

As lissie says, if you are pregnant, the little bean may not even have implanted yet and you can't get a BFP until it has implanted. Even once that has happened, you need to wait until HCG has started building up, so even if it has implanted you may not have enough HCG to register on the tests.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh. I do know how frustrating it is - I'm now on CD26 and my UCL is 28 (although last month it was 32).

I step away for 5 minutes, and you've gone and tested about 7 times!

If you run out of money, due to all the HPT purchases, you could always pop down to A&E and complain about seeing faint lines stars

I have had early positives lots(5 pregnancies in ttl, 3 as u knw ended in mc's)

You know as well as everyone else here that every woman and every pregnancy is different. Hormones are unpredictable things.

Don't test every day. Give it a few days between tests. Perhaps, instead of testing, you could read a good thriller, write your life story, or take up knitting! Anything to take your mind off this obsession (that we all get from time to time).

Hi pme i know how your feeling and i'm sorry everyone but i have tested about 3 times and i'm not due af until tues..... of course they are all bfn not even a hint of a line or even a evap line!!! i don't really have any symptoms so don't know why i'm doing it!!!

Hy angelfifi, I have had tested again today with FMU with CB digital and notdue AF til FRIDAY!!!!!!!!! So yr not as bad as me!!!!

Of course it was feckn negative

Pissed off big time, so gonna stop now, til at least CD27, today I am Cd25 of 30 day cycle

Have you managed to avoid the HPT? It's amazing how they have a magnetic abilty to draw you in isn't it. If you haven't tested, stay strong and STEP AWAY!

Had my parents staying for the weekend so been unable to check this thread.

PME its still too early - stop testing!

I'm now on CD 29 on normally a 27-32 day cycle. I did another cheapie test this morning and within 5 mins 2 lines appeared - one a lot fainter than the other but it was there. I might even convince myself to do a tesco or clearblue test soon!

Cheers Pistachio I keep worrying because I'm getting some cramps like period ones - so at the moment I'm not letting myself believe I could be pregnant. But i will do a tesco test tomorrow morning first thing.

I keep trying to convince myself its a good thing the cheapie tests are showing lines - especially as last time with the mmc I didn't get a line till about a week overdue -so there must be more hormones which is a good sign?

I reckon it's a good sign that it's showing up early. I'm not an expert (obviously not having ever been pregnant) but from what I've heard you can get lots of period like cramps at the beginning because your uterus is getting nice and cosy for the little bean. I really really really hope that's what you're getting.

Let us know how you get on tomorrow with the Tesco test. PLx

Sounds really daft but the longer I keep thinking I'm not - the less I'll build my hopes up - and then if AF does start I won't be as disappointed. Its not at all logical.

Whoooooo!!! Congrates liskey i know that when i was pg before, i did a cheapie one the line was really faint and then did a tesco one and the line was very bold!! So good luck fingers crossed!!

Hi - Done the Tesco test and it showed 2 lines so looks like I am! (For a few weeks I'm not really going to believe it as I know how disappointed I was last time).

DH said last night he thought I was pregnant as well - just a feeling he had.

Awwhhh cheers for that pme - I've now got tears in my eyes. I am pleased - just scared of getting too happy as been trying for about 21/2 years - had a mmc last year which I was devasted about.

I tested on CD 27 (but not first thing in the morning so it was a BFN) then tested on CD 28 and it might have been - but it was a bit faint and only a cheapie test. I'm on CD30 today and tested with a tesco one and its a BFP! So I held out until only 1 day before AF due. This thread did help with that.
