Clwc · 29/04/2009 22:11

Haha. I think we may be on the same wavelength

I've re-calculated (very light AF) and have now started round 2 of Clomid on CD4. (Not) everything crossed for this month!

proudestmummyever · 30/04/2009 09:14

Haha Clwc!! Glad to hear we r on the same wavelength, well I am nw on cd15...it is dragging in.... ....ah well, lets hope ths is the mnth..lol, hw are we all today?

Liskey · 30/04/2009 09:14

Morning Ladies

Hope your all ok.

CD19 for me and I'm trying not to symptom spot - keep getting stomach cramps and wondering if thats a symptom - though its more likely to be stress from work!

Angelfifi · 30/04/2009 09:45

Hi ladies,
Do you mind if i join this group!! We have been trying now for a year this August to have anouther little one, 2 mc along the way, i had my first af and am already looking/making up symptoms!!! we must have spent loads on those damn tests!! ahhh! Had a bad day yesterday, just feeling low thinking its not going to happen, sorry if im making everyone miserable! I will go now! Keeping fingers crossed and for everybody else!!

Clwc · 30/04/2009 11:51

Well, good luck, Liskey. I think the harder you try not to symptom spot, the more you do! I was terrible for it last month, and still don't want to admit I had AF, rather than breakthrough bleeding (tmi, sorry)! I know I'm going to be even worse with symptom spotting this month!

Welcome, Angelfifi I've only just joined this thread myself. Everyone's very nice
We've all had those feelings you mentioned, I'm sure. And we don't mind if people want to throw their toys out of the pram (bad example?) and scream and shout on here. What CD are you on?

Angelfifi · 30/04/2009 15:47

I'm new to this and im still trying to get to grips with these shortened words, sorry i'm being really thick! What does cd stand for?

nunnie · 30/04/2009 16:14

CD - cycle/calander day.

OP posts:
Angelfifi · 30/04/2009 16:42

Oh of course doh!!!! Sorry! I'm on cd 14 im having stomach cramps but think my stomach is still recovering from mc even though i have had af, so am trying not to read to much into that, trying being the word!!!! It's just a nightmare as i keep thinking different things are a sign! ahhhhhhhgh!!!

Liskey · 30/04/2009 21:57

Done the same thing myself Clwc - trying to convince myself it was a implantation bleed recently!

Hi Angelfifi - Sorry to hear about you mc's - I had a mmc last year in August and know what its like. This is a really friendly thread - purpose being not to test too early (despite me buying a load of cheapies from ebay) I will resist!! How long is it since you had the mc?

Clwc · 30/04/2009 23:35

Snap! @ Liskey lol. I'd had all kinds of spotting and whatnot. Still trying to convince myself in fact

Angelfifi You're on CD14 and you've got the HPTs at the ready already, haven't you?? C'mon girls! This one's an emergency case............STEP AWAY!!!

(Only messing )

Why shouldn't this month be everybody's lucky month, hm? xx

Angelfifi · 01/05/2009 07:16

I know thats what i mean im a bit obsessed ahhhh! Hehehe i need distracting!

We had the mc in march and have had my first af so guessing my body is getting back to normal, but we have been trying since last august, had a chemical pg'cy in sept. so had the highs to be let down AGAIN. All i keep thinking about is pg test even though i know they will be neg what is wrong with me am i the only one that is so bad......

Liskey · 01/05/2009 08:12

Your not the only one Angelfifi by any means! I did a test when I had AF as well.

Are you using Ovulation tests as well? As they can be quite helpful to tell when your ovulating - I'm trying to temp as well but an erratic sleep pattern doesn't help.

Clwc · 01/05/2009 11:08

I've had a few hospital-type HPTs delivered recently. It's only a few days since my v. light AF left, but I can't wait to crack open those tests

I'm keeping track of my cervix this time, as OPKs probably wouldn't work for me, and I keep forgetting to take my temperature

Angelfifi, have you bought cheap tests off the Net, or are you spending a fortune in your local supermarket/pharmacy?

Angelfifi · 01/05/2009 13:36

I did buy a batch off ebay the cheapy buy 10 for about 2 or 3 quid but i did a first response test after af to make sure test was neg, first time we ever wanted a neg! just to know if theres a darker line next time(if there ever will be a next time!!) it may be pos. Does that make sense??? I confuse myself sometimes!
I keep looking at the ovulation tests and wondering if i should or if that will make me even more obsessed! Keep looking on ebay and thinking shall i, how does everyone rate them??

Clwc · 01/05/2009 15:53

Hm. You've confused me too.

As I mentioned before, I don't use OPKs, but I'm sure they would make me even more crazy.

Liskey · 01/05/2009 20:34

I bought some OPK's off ebay and they seemed ok - got a line when I was ovulating I'd guessed I was already. Personally I prefer the OPK's to temping as my DH keeps moaning about me temping (as the beep beep noise wakes him up ) and i can wake up any time between 3 and 6 am or just doze uneasily inbetweeen.

One of my colleagues at work really rated the OPK's though - his wife got pregnant with them really easily.

Liskey · 01/05/2009 21:03

Forgot to say whilst sympton spotting still and now

very sensitive breasts and still stromach cramps - c'mon tell me those are good signs on CD20 today

Clwc · 02/05/2009 01:02

I'm just going into CD7 (or so I thought) and have taken 3rd Clomid tab for this cycle. My nips still hurt when touched, my ovaries are still twinging, and I'm spotting old blood again tonight (tmi, soz).

Confused is an understatement. I'll be going to see the doc next week, for sure!

Clwc · 02/05/2009 01:03

PS I hope they are good signs, Liskey

Angelfifi · 02/05/2009 07:38

Good luck Liskey fingers crossed for you

Liskey · 02/05/2009 17:02

Cheers for that - I'm not really getting obsessive!

Good luck for this cycle Clwc and at the Doctors sounds very confusing - I've an appt booked for the Doctors on Tuesday as well - to make sure the infection I had has completely cleared up.

I did a test after mc as well to check the hormone had left - so your not the only one Angelfifi who's done that!

MrsMc82 · 02/05/2009 17:43

HI Ladies!

Hope you're all well - had a mad busy last couple of weeks so not been on the the board even to lurk for a while.....

I'm currently on day 17 and think I OV'd yest so just bding as often as poss for last week... our 10 yr anniversay (of meeting) yesterday too so hopefully that'll give us some luck!

xx

Clwc · 02/05/2009 22:00

AF came back. She must've forgotten something

Perhaps it's just another of the long list of Clomid side effects.

Anyone ever had a good response from phoning the NHS helpline? I thought I might try, being as it's Sunday tomorrow, and a bank holiday Monday.
