Day 21 tests really need an answer to this question fast!!

I have just got Dr to do form for this test due to short LP.

But I told him 7 dpo would be next wed CD31. But I have 34 day cycle. Is that too late - 3 days before af due?

Should it be earlier? and can it be too close to ov? because i can go tomorrow hoping that i ov between mon and today - or go next tues which will be 4 days before af?

Any ideas? Thank you x

it could be - the progesterone levels drop at the end of the cycle. I had one test which they did the day 21 test on day 28 to make sure they caught it and typically period arived the day after and the test suggested i hadn't ovulated when I probably had,

I can't remember if it has to be 7 days after ovuating or if this is to ensure they catch it.
