Hi All,
I'm very new to all this and a bit overwhelmed by it all... so much info on TTC generally online that its all a bit much! - Plus all the msg brd jargon to get my head around too so bear with me :0)!!!!

This is the first cycle that we've TTC and know its not likely to happen first time so trying really hard to not get too excited as know i could be really dissapointed....

I'm using a persona (have been for last year or so) and had always planned to start trying properly in June but this month decided to go with red days rather than green ones and see what happens as I just couldn't wait any longer to start trying!! I've taken it a bit more seriously that DH as don't like leaving things to chance! ;0)

I've had the O sign on my persona on day 15 and 16 this cycle, we've BD'd on day 6 (for fun!!), 12 16 and 17....... Do you think we've done enough???? Is that about right???

Driving myself mad as I'm day 18 now and normally don't get my period till about day 30/32 so feel like have forever to wait......

And thoughts or advice would be great.....

Thanks Ladies xx

Hi Mrsmc, welcome to ttc

You are quite right that it is unlikely to happen first time, but i hope that you are one of the lucky ones.

I have been ttc for 5 yrs and have had 3mc in that time, have just fallen again and will be 6 weeks on tues and hoping against all hope that this one is ok.

I would recomment=d a book called 'taking charge of your fertility' you can get it on amazon and is realy good for giving you some ideas on the ttc lark.

I believe that when you are ovulating you should bd the day before and day of ovulation to get the best chance.

good luck to you i realy hope it doesnt take you long. is this your first?

Thinking good thoughts for you too x

Hi MrsMC82,

we've been told that the best chances are to bd every other day and that most woman get BFP if bd day or two before ov. Hope this helps and good luck!

Afternoon all.
This seems like a nice thread so wondered if i could join in?

Wont beet around the bush me and my DP have been TTC DC#1 for about 10month. Been haveing problems with ovulating . We have a GOF very very regularly, but still no luck. Also, i have been getting very of people around me that are already pg or people who already have a DC, but oh well. I am currently on CD10. So just waiting for ovulatiuon CM if it ever arrives.

MrsMc82,

Good luck with your first month!! I was lucky enough to fall PG in the first month - but unfortunately that ended in a very early MC (5 weeks). But 6 weeks after the MC, I was PG again and am now 31 weeks.

But I do understand that we were very very lucky and it is unusual. But if it's happened to us, it can happen to you too...

As for BDing, it sounds like you've done well this month. The month I fell PG, we only BDd 3 times, around the same times as you.

I have to say that I probably owe my PG to MN (well, DH did have a little to do with it... ). I've learnt so much. Hope you get the support that you need. There are loads of good threads on here to help you out!!

xxx
