Unusual cramping.

Got my AF 1 day late last month, had moderate cramping for a few days prior on and off, bit of cramping during AF which was much heavier than normal and lost some clots.
I am now on CD9 and have cramps again slightly more intense than before .

Could this be anything to do with taking EPO and green tea (only been taking them since my AF arrived)?

Sorry forgot to mention I was treated in 2002 for endometrosis, have had no problems since, could this be rearing its ugly head again? Pains are not as bad as they were then mind.

Hi Nunnie, I started drinking green tea since ttc and i haven't noticed any side effects, not sure about EPO

nunnie · 31/03/2009 13:31

Thanks sgibbo, I am due to stop them both in the next few days for ovulation, so I will see if they ease off then.
Really hope it is one of those, I don't fancy another visit to the gynae

it could just be your body getting ready to ov again?

VeryAnnieMary · 31/03/2009 14:49

Hi nunnie, how are you? No advice, just wanted to say hi. Hope your cramps ease soon.

Hi VeryAnnie.

Anniemac, they don't feel as bad as they did originally and I have no pain during or after intercourse which I did previously, to the point where prior to diagnosis I hadn't had intercourse for almost 3 years cos of the pain.

Endo as far as I am aware can only be diagnosed with a lap.
It is so bloomin annoying, I do wonder if I am just noticing things more cos I am becoming obsessive in TTC.

It does sound like you need to get further investigation into your pain though, I would get referred for a second opinion if I were you.
I am going to leave it till next month and if it is the same again then I will off to my GP to get referred to gynae, I hope it isn't wndo though cos it will put my ttc on hold

Thanks everyone.

I think like most people trying to concieve and being unsuccesfull I am now trying to find the cause, at first I thought that maybe I was ovulating and it was ovulation pain, but it would mean I ovulate the day after af ends, which doesn't give me much hope to get pregnant.
I am now thinking that maybe it is normal as I had a much heavier AF than usual maybe this is because of that. What, if maybe!!

I didn't realise until the last couple of months how soul destroying it actually is, I think I have come to realise that I may never have #2 and it breaks my heart. I should stop being so bloody selfish though I have one beautiful dc and I am lucky.

Maybe that is the first step to admit defeat!
