I conceived DD on Novemeber 2nd. She was overdue and born on August 2nd. Coincidence or nature being left to do her stuff?

I can't test the theory with my other children as one was an emergency section and I don't know the date I conceived the other.

same here, supposedly overdue by ten days, arrived nine calendaer months after conception.

My dd arrived exactly 40 weeks after my lp (not sure exact date of conception, though)

you might not have conceived on that date though

the egg might have been released a day or two later, the sperm can survive a few days

i think it is just a coincidence, as you are only presuming you conceived on that particular date

my DD was born on her due date, 40 week pregnancy, and i had a good idea of when teh conception occurred, but you never know for sure

The inplantation bleed was a bit of a giveaway..

Implantation can happen on a variety of days though, it wouldn't help pinpoint conception accurately.

I guess it depends if you use a tropical solar calendar or a lunar calendar...but don't forget that normal term for delivery is defined by the W.H.O. as between 37wks and 42wks, so lots of variation.

Oh well, It has been nice to think it worked out how it was meant too since DS1's delivery was an emergency.
