Tell me I've gone mad

I am worried I have gone a bit soft in the head. We've TTC for a few months and I need a bit of advice.

I had a Mirena taken out in late July last year and had a normal period about a month afterwards followed by 3 humdingers - cycle length between 22 - 26 days.

Then I had another normal period but it was an unusually long cycle at 36 days, then another normal one but this time with a normal cycle length.

All OK so far really; it's the next cycle which is puzzling me.

For my last 2 periods I've had next to no bleeding. It has hardly been enough to justify a pantyliner, let alone anything more substantial! The first of the confusing ones was 44 days followed by a silly little dark brown bleed, and the next was 24 days long (my normal cycle length) with another silly, tiny dark brown bleed.

I've read on here a few stories from ladies who have been pregnant and still have bleeding, so have done 3 HPTs over the last 2 periods but all have shown BFN.

But I am so puzzled, I feel absolutely exhausted to my bones with no reason, my boobs are spilling out of my bras - I've measured them to be sure I'm not deluded, I am weeing ALL the time and I feel quite bloated around the tummy.

Am I being quite, quite mad for doubting the negative HPTs? Would a doctor listen to me or show me the door because I am a neurotic fool?

I have no idea what could be going on, but I think you should see a doctor. Good luck.

If the length or nature of your periods has changed I would seek medical advice from your GP in the first instance.

Would not think you're pg due to the negative pg test results.

You should have a blood test done to see if problems with your thyroid gland (it may now be over or under active) is the root cause of the exhaustion.

Don't ignore this, get it checked out medically.
