LH surge and late ovulation

Hey all: I'm beginning to wonder if I ovulate later than the normal 24-48 hours after an LH surge. I've been pregnant before (but had mc's) and I recorded my LH surges but not when I had sex but if I remember correctly, it was usually a few days after the LH surge. I read that you should take your temperature every morning and if you see a spike, that means you've ovulated. I've been temping since my LH surge on Saturday and still no rise.
Have any of you lovely women had a similar experience?

Hi daynee i have been using opk's and temping, and from this it looks like I ov 3 days after the LH surge is detected, I am interested that you think you do as well as I thought maybe something was awry but if other people have it too then perhaps it can happen?

I also think (from temping and OPKs) that I ovulate a bit later too, about 2-3 days from the dip/LH surge on the OPK.

It is possible to get a +ve on an OPK and still not ovulate, or to experience a second surge and ovulate after that.

I would keep temping. You have to have a sustained temperature increase rather than a spike to indicate ovulation has occured.
