not sure what this is.......

me and DH been ttc #2 for a while. i caught really quick on ds and thought i would this time. no such luck tho anyways i came on on the 8th march (i was convinced i was pregs) but then last night i went to the loo and and had a seriously bad shooting pain going thru my foof and up in to my stomach the first thing i thought was i needed to go for a number 2 (sorry tmi) but then when i wiped myself i was bleeding (quite heavyish) and there was quite a bit of blood down the toilet. so i took some pain killers but by the next afternoon there was nothing. me and DH have been ttc since i come back off but its too early and was too heavy for an implantation bleed (i think?? i never had it with ds) so can any one explain what it was or should i just go to GPs???

Could be many things - is there any chance you could be six weeks pregnant - sometimes if you catch twins you lose one and can bleed. Could have been a failed implantation - you can have a period type bleed and still be pregnant. You don't really need to go to the GP unless you have a fever, shoulder tip pain or constant heavy bleeding which soaks through a pad within an hour.

Might be worth doing a test though.
