Advice please - implanation bleed

Hi - Been trying to conceive for a while now following a mc last year. I think I ovulated around day 14 and had sex that day. Now it was Day 23 on Thursday - I started bleeding when I went to the loo and had a pad as thought AF was coming(been a bit unreliable lately) but it was really light and has since stopped. Is this the right sort of timescale for an implanation bleed?

AF is not due till Tuesday but is it worth doing a test already? I didn't have any implanatation bleeding when I was pregnant last year so am curious if this can vary from 1 pregancy to another?

Thanks for any advice.

Not sure Liskey. Why not do a test?Good luck!

Cheers for that - I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

When I was pregnant last year I didn't get a positive test result till I was 7 days overdue so didn't want to waste a test but this bleed has got me wondering....

It is around the right time, since implantation begins on about 6 dpo and takes a few days. You are around 12dpo now, yes? IME I usually get an accurate result from about 12 dpo (using FMU) so I guess you probably could test if you can't wait until Tuesday to find out... Lots of luck.

Thanks for that Mrs Happy - Sorry ignorant question what does dpo stand for - days post ovulation?

I'm trying not to test and resisted this morning but my fingers keep twitching towards the clearblue test that I "happen" to have in the bathroom - actually I've two just in case!

I know I'll be a nervous wreck if I am due to mmc last year - and an unhappy wreck if I'm not!

Yes, days past ovulation.
