Can I use something to stop my period for holiday whilst TTC?

We are TTC, however, I'm due on my period on our wedding which is abroad- so if I'm not pregnant by then, I want to be able to take those tabets to stop the period. Is this safe? Does it prevent pregnancy?

My DD took these to stop her period whilst backpacking foer her Gold DofE award. The GP was quite strong in telling her that they were NOT contraceptives. She had to take 4 tablets a day as had left if too near the trip - if she had gone in ealier she could have had a 1 a day pill (The Pill?).

No idea about safety if TTC though??

Phone your GP for advice.

They usually prescibe Norethisterone. You need to speak to your GP.
