If I have sex when I'm NOT ovulating, no colour then either..

Had a clear smear last June and no pain or anything like that..am wondering if I actually produce colour every time I ovulate (have googled this and its quite common for some women) but its only when I have sex that it shows as its ahem...disturbed...

Maybe your cervix is sensitive and bleeds a little when you have sex? when you ovulate it is lower down and softer than at other times in the cycle so it could be due to that. As you say it is also common to have a little colour when you ovulate but I think the fact that it happens after sex suggests more that it is to do with your cervix. HTH

Yeah it's one of the checks you can do to check your fertility each month. Before the fertile time your cervix feels a bit like a nose and is pretty high up and then around ovulation it feels a bit like lips and is lower down

Really?? Oh my..DH thinks I'm being ott by just asterisking my ov day on the calender and checking ewcm...if I started disappearing to fiddle my cervix I think he would leave!

It was a step too far for me too, did it for a couple of cycles and then stopped. All the very bestI hope you get your BFP soon
