AF like cramps but too early.

I am on day 17 of a 28 day cycle and I started getting AF like cramps yesterday which I put down to the diarrohea. They went but have returned again this morning. Could my AF be about to rear its ugly head . I am constantly tired and irritable put it this way I would avoid me if I could .

All this seems to point at AF .

That isn't necessarily the case Nunnie, I had AF cramping when I was pregnant. In fact all of the symptoms that I had were identical (PMT, sore boobs). It is impossible to say what is going on because every woman, every cycle and every pregnancy is different. Try not to symptom spot!

I do try promise Still drinking coffee so don't think I am pregnant. Plus not boob issues yet.

My AF arrived on day 25 last cycle which is irregular for me, so it could be possible that it is going to arrive early again, if it does it might eventually catch up the other side and I will have a constant AF .

Completely understand your predicament -- it's terribly hard not to symptom spot.

My mother made the good point to me a few weeks ago that you can get a BFP with absolutely no symptoms and a BFP with all the classic symptoms (including PMT)-- there is just no way of knowing! She said with me she didn't realise she was pregant until she had missed two periods and went to the doctor to see what was up. With my two brothers she was ill and fatigued from day one!

This has strangely calmed me and I have stopped paying attention altogether. I hope this eases your mind that cramps on day 17 mean nothing and could very well have been caused, as you said, by your stomach bug.

Probably is the bug tbh, I had just got myself in a tiss thinking my cycle length had dramatically reduced
Oh OK there was a little part of me that wondered if it could be a sign of a BFP coming my way
