yes, yes, I know, its early days yet (4wks), should not be shouting it out just yet, and yes i know I should stick to the 'correct' threads, but I cant find it, and I am bursting. I have told one friend, or rather, she asked me if I was pg due to serious sickness and I could not lie, so we have spent all afternoon talking babies and I just feel excited, especially as I knew last week I was pg, I had soooooooo many symptoms!

Thanks DawnAS - second. I have a beautiful DD aged 2.7, a lovely gap if it all works out.

Herbie - nope, it is definitely morning sickness It is how I knew I was pg before testing. It feels exactly like it did with DD, same foods making me feel sick, I can't drink coffee, or wine, it has gone on for a week and follows the same patterns as morning sickness. I do think I had a bug of some kind at first as I had a fever on wednesday for a few hours, but even DH said he knew when I vomited at the smell of his manhattan (which is my favourite drink ever) that I was pg even though he pretended it was not!

With DD, I was sick all the way through with a break of about a month at around 32 weeks, just before heartburn brought it back with a vengeance , but it did not start until around 6-7weeks last time. hope I get some respite this time.

How lovely! I'm currently 27 weeks PG with my first so it's getting a bit scary now!!

Good luck to you and I hope that it all works out!! What a lovely early Mothers Day pressie!!

oh Dawn - congratulations - it is magical. I thought after DD, at first, maybe one more. But now, I really want lots. DD is just such a fab age. Yes she is a terror sometimes, of course she is, but she is so interactive and fun and i love watching her learn, and the more I know her the more I love her and I can't wait to have another one to love too.

At first I worried that I might not love another as much as DD as she was so special, but right now I feel like I would have enough love for 3 or 4!! Perhaps not the space, but certainly the love!

Oh, Just a quick question so I don't overload MN with pg questions already....

I am in the middle of painting our house, if I wear a face mask for the fumes, can I still do this (eggshell) or cannot I not do this now? Any ideas?
