I am terrified to test ...

I have posted a few times under this name.

On Feb 10th my husband and I had sex (he did not finish).

I was told to get M-A-P but did not.

2 weeks later I had blood stained discharge, my period did not start.

I have had cramps since.

I just had a cup of tea, toast and a twirl ... then threw up.

I know I should test, you keep telling me to but I am terrified. My youngest is very, very small. My period has not even returned yet.

, I am just going to say what you don't want to hear.

Please set your mind at rest, it really is the only way.

Good luck.

nunnie · 10/03/2009 13:28

How old is your youngest?

MiamlaHasADaffodilBehindHerEar · 10/03/2009 13:30

does your DH think you took the MAP? if you can't talk to your DH, do you have a close friend you can talk to?
you have to test, you might be worrying about nothing

BlameItOnTheBogey · 10/03/2009 13:30

I think I posted on your other thread. YOu have to test. Are you not testing because you are scared of the result or because you don't have a test or something else? Testing really will put your mind at rest. If you cant afford a test, I might have one I can send you.

kidcreoleandthecoconuts · 10/03/2009 13:31

You might be worrying about nothing....but unless you do a test you're not going to know. Do a test and then at least you'll know one way or the other and if you are pregnant plan what you're going to do.

brettgirl2 · 10/03/2009 13:38

You've got to do the test - there are possible explanations for everything you describe, that are not pregnancy:

Funny blood stained discharge/cramping - your body is still re-adjusting after having a baby

You had your lunch and threw up - you have a tummy bug.

BUT you aren't going to know unless you do the test, particularly as it's quite possible if BF your periods might not come back for ages.

nunnie · 10/03/2009 13:41

My question about your youngest was to try and gauge where you are on the AF front not to be nosy sorry.
I don't know why I asked it tbh I can't actually remember when my AF's returned to normal after DD.

I have 4 tests, and I don't plan on using them all in the near future, if you want one you can have one. I live in Lancashire if you are local, if not I can post but I am guessing that will just add to the waiting game.

I have just seen an offer for a HPT by another sorry.

whoopsybigtime · 10/03/2009 13:41

My husband knows I did not take the M-A-P. He thought, like me, there was no need.

He thinks I am, he keeps calling me 'preggers'

I'm not testing because I am scared of the result. I don't want to go out and buy one either. I will have to go with my children and I wll get these looks ' ' with all of them and baby with me.

My husband would never forgive me if I did not keep the baby (omg... not a baby!) so I would have no choices. I could not do it anyways.

Feck.

My baby is 11 weeks old, bottle fed, so no protection from breastfeeding.

I would really appreciate a test if anyone has one. I would buy one from Ebay but my sister uses my account and would see it.

I will pay postage of course.

If going to get a test really scares you that much can huby not get you one? You really might be worrying over nothing and it can't be good for you to be this strung out especially with a small nipper. Please for your own sanity test.

nunnie · 10/03/2009 13:45

Message me your address.

BlameItOnTheBogey · 10/03/2009 13:47

Can you either post your email address here or CAT me? I'll send one to you.

brettgirl2 · 10/03/2009 13:47

I've got a clearblue one in my drawer that I don't need (I'm 35 weeks). Send me an email if you want it [email protected]. I'll send it this afternoon if you want.

nunnie · 10/03/2009 13:50

Bare in mind you might not believe the first test whatever the result, so might be worth getting a spare too. Mine is first response. Don't worry if you take another offer I don't mind as long as you get a test off someone.

whoopsybigtime · 10/03/2009 13:54

nunnie, it says you do not acept CAT.

Thanks everyone,

I hope I'm just being paranoid.

nunnie · 10/03/2009 13:58

Also whoopsybigtime, boots have a bogoff deal on first response and you can order online if all else fails.

whoopsybigtime · 10/03/2009 14:02

Thankyou,

will let you know the result when done x

If you still want test(s) I have some left over ebay ones that I won't use - they seem to get praise on here - very happy to post them. If you want, email me on Kate Fallon 44 @ hot mail . com (no spaces)

Whoopsybigtime · 11/03/2009 21:51

For the first time ever on here I am going to say CONGRATULATIONS for a BFN

brettgirl2 · 12/03/2009 08:00

Yay - and I can guarantee it wasn't from a faulty batch because mine was positive from the same box!
