i would like to sway the odds and try for a girl 3rd time around. By bits of what ive read its to do with timing and whether your cervix is favourable for female sperm. Can i change this simply by diet and if so what should i be eating. I s thre a way of testing the PH in your lala region? Any advice or experience please.....

I used to be a science teacher.... wonder if getting some universal indicator would help....

not to put up there- but i guess erm test your secretions!

Not sure about diet but have heard you should have lots of sex before you ovulate as female sperm last longer. Don't know if it's true or not, but no harm in trying.

Female sperm are tougher so anything that gives them the advantage is good (a friend used to douche with vinegar,it worked!)Also get your man to cycle, sperm don't like it,but the tough girl sperm are more likely to survive. Some men do make sperm of mainly one gender though,so bear that in mind! Good luck.
And the timing, which is more likely to work I think,no sex later than two days before ovulation. You need to know your cycle well for this to work, and be really regular.

I think it's pot luck - sorry! I'm pg with a boy this time (already have 2 girls) and haven't done anything differently at all (well, not that I know of anyway).
But, there is loads of info if you google for it about diets, timing, positions etc etc Worth trying for fun but I don't think there are any guarantees.
I do think though that if you have sex on the day of ovulation you are more likely to have a boy as boy sperm are faster (but die quicker). Maybe something to bear in mind? And if you have sex a couple of days before ovulation the boy sperm should have died by the time you ovulate leaving the big strong girlie ones. I think this is right?
Best of luck.
