I don't know much but be very careful, its strong stuff, get as much advice as you can before taking it and good luck

Its not a good idea to self medicate with AC as it is quite powerful stuff. It may not actually be suitable for you to take (this can certainly be the case with PCOS for example). If you did want to go down this route you're better off finding a properly qualified medical herbalist.

What are your periods like - if they are irregular and or painful in nature it is best to seek medical advice sooner rather than later. Blood tests can be done to see what your hormone levels are like.

I've taken it after coming off Depo-Provera and most recently Cerazette. After Depo I'd been waiting for my period for months, but it came back after I started taking AC.

I also took it when I stopped taking Cerazette and AF arrived bang on time. Since TTC, I've been taking it only until OV day.
I've just had a BFP.

Congrats .... Were you ok on AC? did you have any side effects and what dose did you take???

Who perscribed it for you?

Thanks

I took it after I read about it on a Depo support group website... no prescription or anything. Take whatever dose is recommended on the bottle/packet as they vary in strenght. I didn't notice any side effects, aside from that it made me feel better.

A word of caution though - we're all different, and just because I felt fine doesn't mean that you will too. With Depo, some people are quite happy with it, others (like me) have a nightmare.
Just trust, and listen, to your body.

Good luck!
