Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Well done FAIKI!

I am on day 23 and am pretty certain AF will arrive as expected in 5 days or so. Ho-hum.

nickytwotimes · 24/03/2009 14:05

MrsJM, that's exactly how I feel. I know I am not pg.

georgimama · 24/03/2009 14:06

gingerwine, in your shoes, about now sounds like the perfect time. It's six o'clock somewhere, right?

Congrats faiki!!

Lishylooloo · 24/03/2009 14:06

I meant to put "then with DD, I had it too...."

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:07

Nicky - onwards and upwards for our next cycle, eh?

nickytwotimes · 24/03/2009 14:08

Oh yes Mrs JM!

Lishylooloo · 24/03/2009 14:09

Sorry to hear about F arriving Georgimama, gingerwine and all the others. Enjoy the wine!

georgimama · 24/03/2009 14:16

In that case MrsJM buy one of those lush dresses from Pret a Portabello. You might as well!

georgimama · 24/03/2009 14:17

Not mine - not quite yet!

It will though !

4thtimelucky · 24/03/2009 14:19

wooooo FAIKI! Did you really get the first one of the thread? That's a double BFP in my book!

Vile tasting breakfast sensation thankfully gone. Replaced by vile tasting lunch that is now making me burp like a trooper - couldn't decide what I wanted for lunch so had a little subway with just about everything on it, figuring something would taste OK. Is loss of taste a symptom or do I really need to be committed somewhere before I go truely nuts.

Gingerwine - somewhere in the world it'd be an acceptable time so why not have one if you feel the need. Possibly after the school run. I am going to have water as it's the only thing I can't taste (well, partly envy and partly my guts!!)

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:25

Thanks georgimama - I think I might! It's so weird that I just know. Very strange.

I must admit to buying some tests off ebay though. I mean, 99p for ten on ebay versus £8 for one in the chemist!

4thtimelucky - it's all sounding good!

fatandiknowit · 24/03/2009 14:31

Thank you all

I have treated myelf to a new bra in a huge size to contain my swollen self - hope they don't get much bigger (38F!)

Hopefully some of you will join me with BFP soon

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:35

FAIKI - is this your first

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:36

too

4thtimelucky · 24/03/2009 14:36

Did boots test last night / this morning - was £5 for 2 tests, are they not particularly sensitive?

Vaguely thinking I might get a early one on the way home but DP on a course and won't see him til Friday night (have asked him to nab bathrobe from swanky hotel he's in - my current one is yukkety, perhaps should tell him to get a really big one?!) so also vaguely thinking should do it when he is there on Saturday morning but have friends 40th dinner (mmm, am not old enough to have 40 year old friends surely?!) on Friday night so vaguely thinking should do it before then. Vaguely thinking about lots of things today as too busy thinking about horrible tastes!!!

Tillyscoutsmum · 24/03/2009 15:20

Hoorah !! We have a BFP Congrats FAIKI. Sorry to all those who have AF Good luck to anyone testing soon.

I have a positive OPK today so need to be jumping dh for the next few days

Here's to lots more BFP's

fatandiknowit · 24/03/2009 15:21

it is indeed my first MrsJoe

so I'm very exciting and really rather scared - in a good way!

wasabipeanut · 24/03/2009 15:37

Excellent news from Faiki

We needed a BFP to perk everyone up I think.

No AF for me yet but I ov'd later than usual so am not expecting to come on until Thursday or Friday. I might test at the weekend if nothing's happened but I'm not hopeful at all because of evil cramps yesterday and same type of CM I got this time last month 2 days before AF arrived

Arse.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 16:07

FAIKI - that's absolutely wonderful, much love and congratulations to you both.

Tils - go for it, girl.

We need some more, but I can't even remember if anyone is due to test! What I will say for us, however, is that I am impressed with everyone's restraint in the testing department! No First Response angst on this thread!

nunnie · 24/03/2009 16:08

Congratulations faiki It is nice to see a graduate on here gives the rest of us some hope. Enjoy your new bra!

nunnie · 24/03/2009 16:10

I have surprised myself with my first response restraint in this cycle MrsJoe , I am however not hopeful it will last as I am only on day 2

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 16:14

I am going on the basis that I don't want to be disappointed, so am not testing until I miss a period. By a few days. Which will not be this month.

nunnie · 24/03/2009 16:17

I am going to try my best to not test early again, I am going to try and leave it till at least 3 days late for AF. I was one day late last cycle and tested and within a few hours there was my AF

wasabipeanut · 24/03/2009 16:21

When I had my last BFP I waited until I was 4 days late! With hindsight I'm not quite sure how - I just couldn't face seeing a BFN.

Mollyfloss · 24/03/2009 16:33

On the way back from the bank I was somehow lured into Boots and am now in possession of a 2 pack First response! aaaagh... I feel my willpower is fading fast. I must wait until Friday - day 40. I know that sounds long but I have got AF on Day 40 before...
