Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Get some wine and tissue on stand by in that sad corner ladies, I am certain I will be with you in a day or two.

This is not a lucky thread is it!!!!

Hobnobfanatic · 24/03/2009 09:16

Ooooooh, FAIKI - a line is a line! I'm sure it will get stronger as the days progress and the hormones get stronger. Sounds like a BFP to me (well, a STP - small, thin positive!)!

guineamango · 24/03/2009 09:21

Ordering up my wine already, haven't drunk for months in a bid to keep healthy! But so fed up I'm just going to have to! Def not a lucky thread for me! Lets hope FAIKI, you and every one else has a better chance this month.

anniecam38 · 24/03/2009 09:27

Sorry the evil witch got you aideesmum and guineamango tho' you could still get Your December baby Guinea as going by your current cycle length, if you concieve in couple of weeks you will be due 30th December and aideesmum you would be due 1st Jan but could be early and sneak in a December baby
Am excited and keeping fingers crossed for you Faiki

I'm out too.....I sneezed at work and I'm knew AF had arrived. The moral of the stroy is not to sneeze.
I am sitting at my desk miserable.....

fatandiknowit · 24/03/2009 09:50

Hi hobnob am loving STP!

I think I'll just leave another couple of days - trying not to think about it is impossible though - will keep you all posted

guineamango · 24/03/2009 10:04

Sorry for you Blocka come and join my corner, here's your wine! Sneezing should be banned!
Thanks anniecam I will see if we can squeeze in a dec baby then!

skihorse · 24/03/2009 10:09

haha @STP!

In addition to impending period symptoms mimicking early PG, altitude sickness also mimic these. Last month I was at 12000 feet and got ALL the PG symptoms. Am convinced it was a chemical PG though ... (Altitude sickness hits you the first 72 hours, I'd been there 10 days at this point).

latestarter2009 · 24/03/2009 11:08

hi everyone, just moving over from the november bus (are we no longer a bus?).....I did fall out the back doors a while ago, but couldn't really work out what was going on so have waited till now when it looks like things are going along ok....have had three days of high on the monitor just waiting for the little egg now so i can stop bding soon

the witch seems to be going for a job lot today, so commiserations to all...with so many at the end of their cycles....lots of BFPs must be just around the corner.....fingers crossed.

latestarter2009 · 24/03/2009 11:10

sorry about the CP skihorse, i'm also convinced i had one a few weeks ago...complete pain in the proverbial

4thtimelucky · 24/03/2009 11:39

Rotten bloomin AF aideesmum and guineamango, wine, tissues and hugs.

FAIKI wicked news!!!!

Had a vile tasting coffee this morning, vile tasting breakfast and now have a vile cup of tea on my desk (not to mention vile boss breathing down my neck after reports - this TTC lark is so dominating I can hardly think of those!!!) so despite testing and get BFN (love the STP, gosh how I was looking for those!!), have still not given up.

And because the internet is both our friend and enemy, couldn't resist the beeb health pages which have these as early signs:

Sickness and/or feelings of nausea - a bit
A strange, 'metallic' taste in your mouth - yes, oh god, yes
Breast tenderness, tingling and enlargement - little bits
The small bumps - 'Montgomery's tubercules' - on your nipples becoming more obvious - best not check that out at my desk
Stomach pains - yep, well did at the weekend
Tiredness - yep with vengeance!
Constipation - no, thank god!
Needing to urinate more often - yep
Going off certain things, such as coffee and fatty foods - yep
Increased vaginal discharge - oops if I say yes is this TMI?!!

So now having uncovered that list am even more paranoid than ever. ARGH!!!

skihorse · 24/03/2009 11:46

latestarter - well in addition to 4thtimelucky's symptoms there I went RIGHT OFF CHOCOLATE!

faiki - a line is a line... Good luck!

anniecam38 · 24/03/2009 11:58

4thtime lucky ooh symptoms sound promising. PMSL at 'Montgomerys tubercles-better not check at my desk'.
I too am symptom spotting like mad, im becoming obsessed with my breasts, keep prodding them and seeing if my Montgomerys are raised , my nips do look darker and are more sensitive, ive got feelings or mild cramps that AF is imminent, but have had these before and got a BFP, so will have to wait and see.

georgimama · 24/03/2009 12:30

WRT symptom spotting, any ladies who have already had one or more baby, do you think it is possible that our boobs and bits are less sensitive, or that we have a higher pain threshold now having been through pregnancy/labour/breast feeding already?

Could that be a reason why we are quite low on symptoms?

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 12:35

Great news faiki! You are our first BFP!!!!!!!

I am symptom spotting like nobody's business. AF due Friday. Not hopeful though, as my norks were so so sore when I was pg with dd, and they feel normal.

georgimama · 24/03/2009 12:38

See, MrsJM, that's what I mean! Cling to my hypothesis on this!

My SIL is 10 weeks pg with her 2nd and her early pregnancy has been nothing like her first, she tells me.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 12:40

My administrator has threatened to film me on her phone and post it on YouTube unless I stop squeezing them in the office!

fatandiknowit · 24/03/2009 13:23

Tested again at lunch as my supersensitve NHS tests from ebay had arrived (I'm NOT obsessed i Promise )

and I got a BFP

anniecam38 · 24/03/2009 13:31

YAAYYYY-Huge Congratulations-So happy and pleased for you..
Send plenty of good vibes to all of us due to test in the next few days please!

NakedInnocence · 24/03/2009 13:38

Fab news faiki! The first one of the thread.

Am obsessing over symptoms at the moment, latest has been a feeling of (v.slight) neusea yet being starving hungry! have been eating for Wales today Am also poking my chest at every available moment but no sensitivity at all.

Feeling frustrated as I don't know when exactly I'm due, Thursday at the earliest but could be anything up to Sunday .

Sorry for those that AF got, you could still have a 2009 baby if you catch this next cycle so fingers crossed

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 13:41

FAIKI - that's brilliant news. Fantastic.

I have no symptoms bar cramps.

gingerwine · 24/03/2009 13:59

Wow! Faiki. Great to hear you have a BFP. I'm really pleased for you. It's such an exciting time.

Not such a good day here. I managed to lock myself out of the house this morning (stupid yale locks!). Good job I leave a key with a friend!! Then a huge lorry tried very hard to drive into me by pulling right into my lane and scratched the wing mirror of my car which I only picked up last week! Have rung and complained to company who's lorry it was! Then I get home and AF arrives! I am very very fed up and miserable and feel like giving up (clearly a bit hormonal and irrational too). How soon in the day is it acceptable to have a glass of wine? I realise I sound like an alcoholic but I really feel like a nice cool glass of white! I should probably wait until after the school run??

Rtuff · 24/03/2009 14:00

CONGRATULATIONS FAIKI!!!!

Lishylooloo · 24/03/2009 14:03

Faiki, that is briliant news. Congratulations!!!! I expect we'll be seeing a few more BFP's here soon. I am becoming more and ore covinced that I am pg. I had this thing that I have only ever got in the early satges of pregnancy. Sorry in advance if this is TMI! In my sleep I really feel like I need to go to the loo so I clench really tight and I even dream that I need to go to the loo iykwim. Then when I finally wake and am clenching but don't really need to go to the loo. It's a sort of cramping down there. If my first pg I had this quite a bit and once really badly and later discovered I had mc'd. Then with I had it too (but never a really bad dose)and everything was fine. So who knows what is going on... I' not allowing myself to do a pg test until Friday when it will be day 40. I have had a cycle of 40 days before so who knows...

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 24/03/2009 14:05

I hope we get some more BFPs. I am definitely not pregnant. I can just feel it. I remember when I was pg with dd, I just knew. This time I definitely know I'm not.
