Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Thanks, Tilly - but you know what google is like - other symptoms are weight gain, memory loss, dry skin, feeling cold. I have the lot! But then 60 per cent of people on MN probably have these symptoms too!

I think I'll make a doc's appt just in case - especially as we're on our fifth month of TTC and are both geriatrics now!

Tillyscoutsmum · 23/03/2009 13:12

Good idea - quick blood test at the GP's should let you know for definite

alfiesmadmother · 23/03/2009 13:15

Aaaagh! have got thrush again! So no more bd for me and don't even know if I am ovulating with this damn discharge. Ugh

Lishylooloo · 23/03/2009 13:33

Does implantation pain feel pretty much like a period pain? (I'm wishful thinking here)

wasabipeanut · 23/03/2009 16:53

Not feeling good today. Got quite harsh period cramps when out walking with ds this morning. AF is on her way.

Really f**ked off. DH and I eally went for it this month and I was so convinced that with all that sex and with my hormone levels being so high it was going to be our month.

Hey ho.

4thtimelucky · 23/03/2009 16:59

Have one for me nunnie, been chatting to a pregnant friend today and now I am more convinced about my symptom spotting, how crazy am I? Might even go to boots on the way home but I know that it's probably too early, am just being very impatient!

Evening hugs to you all.

alfiesmadmother · 23/03/2009 17:17

Am so fed up. We bd day16,13,11,10 and 8 and now I have really bad thrush and can't do any more and I am on day 20. Holding onto a glimmer that I may have caught on but treating myself to a glass of wine as I am gutted, really wanted to go for it this time and really thought we could do it

alfiesmadmother · 23/03/2009 17:17

Sorry nunnie, do you want to share my wine??

Blocka · 23/03/2009 18:19

Had a mild period like pain for a few mins today, then pink spotting (which is unusual for me before AF arrives), so I am either definately BFP or AF is about to arrive!!!

Why are the symptoms so bl**dy similar??? As if we don't have enough to think about!!

Did a test yesterday and BFN so I am not holding out much hope. I got them off the internet and they are meant to pick up 10miu which is really, really low.

Blocka · 23/03/2009 18:31

I think you will have covered it, Alfiesmadmother, with all that bding! Think positive

nunnie · 23/03/2009 19:12

Would love to share your wine alfiesmadmother thank you.

Hobnobfanatic · 23/03/2009 19:16

There's been so much misery here recently, I think we should all make a detour to the pub!
There must be some good news soon! Come on with those BFPs!

zen1980 · 23/03/2009 21:00

Hey everyone,

Still no AF for me, but am completly convinced not pg even though last time (ended in mmc) i didn't realise either. Am gutted cause if not PG then AF is dragging this into an incredibly long cycle and thought I would be a bit more back to normal after last month. Hey ho will see, did a cheap test yesterday and was BFN but that also happened last time x Fingers and everything else crossed!!!!!!!

Lishylooloo · 23/03/2009 22:30

I totally understand you on the long cycle zen. I don't think I will test until this weekend. Saturday will be day 40. If no BFP then I'll have to pesume that there is something wrong with me or just have to live with this VERY long cycle!

4thtimelucky · 23/03/2009 23:19

What on earth made me think that testing 4 days early at the end of the day would actually be a BFP??? Stupid me. And now my boobs have started hurting too so despite coffee and tea tasting vile and sleeping like the dead am convinced my monthly visitor is going to be with me for the weekend

Sod it, am off to pub with Hobnob at the earliest opportunity!!

georgimama · 24/03/2009 07:10

It is a big design flaw in womankind that the symptoms of very early pregnancy (sore boobs, tired, crampy groin pain) are identical to the feelings of impending AF. I wish to complain about this.

How mad is this for symptom spotting? I have no symptoms whatsoever except I have really bad indigestion. I've had it for about five days now. I had the worst indigestion in the world when pg with DS, never had it before. So obviously I think I am pregnant. Am also willing to bet anyone a tenner that I'm not.

Morning all. Having updated this, I can see so many of us must be close to a BFP.

And for those in the middle, hope you are having BD fun.

Went through my calendars like a loonie and have upped me to CD26 but still no sign of anything, even though glutton for punishment I am POAS a stick again this morning.

Blocka · 24/03/2009 07:43

Well due date is finally here. No sign of AF but it is oly 7.45am!
Did a silly thing and tested this morning. Even DP was hanging around with excitement.

BFN

Sick as a chip ow. Could of sworn that was an implantation spot yesterday. And I actually felt it implant. Or am I truly, madly crazy?

Good luck to you all today, whether you are BDing, AF/symptom spotting or just going mad, like me

anniecam38 · 24/03/2009 07:47

Morning all, just updating list and taking off the ladies that the wicked witch of AF has got.

I too feel as though AF is on her way, but am trying to stay optimistic as i felt this way when pregnant with DS and with my last pregnancy which sadly ended in MC. My boobs arent sore though which i normally get if im pregnant, i keep prodding them and asking DH if they look 'different'-poor man doesnt know what to say for the best . Good luck to anyone testing today!!

anniecam38 · 24/03/2009 07:53

Fingers crossed for you Blocka that AF stays away. If you think you felt implantation pain yesterday, it may just be that the level of hcG isnt high enough yet for the test to detect, i may be wrong but i thought the hormone doesnt start being produced in sufficient amounts until the fertilized egg has implanted. So you may still get your BFP.

Rtuff · 24/03/2009 08:35

Still no AF!!!!! Starting to slowly go nuts now....

FAIKI How are you getting on??

Hi Rtuff still no AF here.

Tested again this morning and got a v v v faint line - so faint DH and I are not sure if we imagined it...

Not sure what to do next really...

Keep testing every two days I guess
