Confused about my dates - someone please help me!!

The first date of my last period was 1st February. My normal cycle length is usually 33 days, sometimes 34 but that's rare.

What I want to know is when would I ahve been ovulating? And on what dates would I have had the best chance of conceiving?

Hope that isn't too confusing but I'm confusing myself on various ovulation calendar sites.

Some site was telling me 14th and then another 22nd! really confused.

Would not hold too much store by these ovulation predicting websites. They can be very confusing (and wrong at worse).

Ovulation is not an exact science and ovulation can occur earlier, later or not at all in any given cycle. Do not tie yourself up in knots re when you would have been ovulating and when the best chances are as all that can stress you out even more. It is all too easy to get the date wrong.

If your periods are irregular in nature and or are very painful it is better to seek medical advice sooner rather than later.

Thanks for your reply.

I was just wanting a standard idea to follow.

On average, most women generally ovulate approximately 12-14 days before the date their period is due. It varies a bit from woman to woman but is usually fairly consistent for the same woman, if you see what I mean.

But it is not set in stone.

Have you tried using ovulation prediction kits and so on?
