  1. ME. OMG. OMG. OMG. I mean, I did want another one (this will be no. 3, I have two gorgeous girls), but DH desperately didn't and I now have to tell him. I wasn't on the pill because it made me feel like shit, he was using condoms (or not, on the one crucial day, it seems...) In addition his father is terminally ill and he's already stressed out.
Have no idea when my last AF was, sometime early Jan.? but the two pink lines nearly jumped out of the window...

Anyone else care to join me?

yea! I soooo wanted this baby!

He will be fine he will come round to the idea even if it is a shock at first. In all fairness if he definitely wanted no babies he would have used a condom every time.

readyfornumber2and3 · 19/02/2009 14:45

Congratulations

He cant really be angry at you if he didnt wear a condom, he knew the risk and went ahead (make sure to remind him of this if he starts lol)

Sorry to hear about his Dad but maybe this news will help cheer everyone up at this difficult time x

Have an enjoyable and relaxing 9 months

HI Jessia,

I'm in a similar position to you. Already have 2 fantastic boys and I might be pregnant again. Last AF sometime early Jan I think. TBH not sure how I feel about having baby #3 but for some reason, haven't been using the pill for the last month. DH seemed quite happy when I told him this morning that I might be late and started talking baby names. Feeling very tired, boobs hurting and my normal fav meal tastes like washing up liquid. Or then it could all be in my mind....

Can't quite get up the nerve to test

ILS - do it NOW!! (Asda and Sainsbury's own brand ones are most sensitive)

Issy42 · 19/02/2009 19:08

Congrats jessia - I'm sure hubby will come round. ILS agree with Nappy - but not a Sainsburys - too many stories of false positives on here from those. Good Luck!

pigletpants · 19/02/2009 19:11

me too. Am still in shock. Did not want no 3 right now.

pigletpants · 19/02/2009 19:14

Congratulations and great thread btw, good to know I am not alone!

jessia · 20/02/2009 08:28

Wow! there are more of us. Welcome in pigletpants and hope you join us for sure ILS!
I told Dh last night and I think he nearly fainted (didn't dare look)... He's not happy, though is attempting to make supportive-sounding noises... "Well then I guess we're going to have three children. Just don't ask me to jump for joy" not being one of the better ones
Eventually he'll come round, probably won't be over the moon for a while but I did say that it would give his mum something to be happy about this year and that was an argument.
He's the silent type who has to work through things in his own head for a while before he comes to terms with them, so I shall just let it lie, though I could really have done with a hug this morning and only got a peck...
