does copper coil removal mess up your cycle?

Hello all
I had copper coil removed on 23 jan so should now be on cd 32. Usually have a 30 day cycle but no sign of period yet. I did a pregnancy test yesterday which was negative. I have some odd symptoms though - sore boobs, tiredness, and this morning a hot flush!

Has anyone found that having the coil removed messed up your first cycle? I'm still hoping I might be pregnant (although first cycle TTC no2 would be very lucky!). Conceived DD on second attempt so am paranoid it may not be so easy this time around. Symptoms may all just be in my head.

Thanks for any insights.

It should have no effect on your cycle at all.

You are probably just a couple of days late for your period, but if it doesn't come soon do another test!

thanks... had a search of the archives and it does seem to delay period for some people.
Of course, could have ovulated late, meaning was too early to test yesterday.
Here's hoping...
