Think I'm Pregnant, Help Please

Right, this is a weird one as I think I'm pregnant and yet I can have no way of knowing as only CD21. We didn't really BD at the right time either, so the chances are really slim, but I think I want to be pregnant SO badly that I'm can't believe I'm not.

I think I'm posting in the hope that you can talk me round, so I don't get my hopes up and get very disappointed if I'm not pregnant.

You mightbe, you might not be but I am assuming you are trying. Enjoy the feeling of anticipation and if it doesn't work out for you, try again next month.

Some people do say they know!

It's a nicer situation to be in than thinking you are but hoping you're not.

Good luck!

Yes, you are absolutely right about good position to be in. Thanks for replying. I don't think I'm one of those people who 'just knows' I didn't know with my previous pregnancies and didn't really get any symptoms at all in first 12 weeks. I think my belief is all wishful thinking.

I had this feeling last month, with my first pregnancy, I went off coffee, very quickly, didn't know at the time I was pregnant.
Last month, I went off the taste of coffee and that was it, I was pregnant, I am not and am now back on the coffee. I am now hoping every mouthful of coffee will make me go urgh so I can feel like that again.

Enjoy it, but try not to think about it, cos the more you do the more symptoms you will imagine and so on a so forth, fingers crossed for you though.

HowManyTimesDoIHaveToTellYou · 13/02/2009 19:11

yup, nunnie, I do know what you mean about symptom spotting, however I've not even got any symptoms - I just think I'm preg because I really want to be, stupid huh? as I'm just setting myself up to be disappointed

Not stupid at all, I think most women who are ttc think they are pregnant, it is the only thing that keeps me sane anyway, hoping this will be the month, it is only natural. If it isn't meant to be this month, then all the more fun trying next

Thanks, nunnie. wise words. Am as did a preg test this morning, obviously neg, but really want to stop myself poas every morning from now until the end of the week when af is due. aaaargh, stop me someone, please

Oh it's tough....I'm trying to ignore the poas thing and I'm not due until end of the month !(ovulated early so there is in reality no chance of a +test!!) Anyway I only have one test and have to remember that I only get +test couple of days after af due.....[frustrated!!] Good luck with the wait!

howmanytimesdoihavetotellyou · 15/02/2009 13:15

Gosh, I'm impressed at only having one test. Do you have a date that you'll test? Why is there no chance of a +, just cos you ov'd early? Good luck

Probably test around the 1st March....oh so long DH works away, we bd probably two days before (suspected) ovulation and not much since...weird cycle this month so not really sure whats going on, am assuming have ovulated by checking cm......so not really feeling confident! Time will tell I suppose

howmanytimesdoihavetotellyou · 15/02/2009 13:46

What can I do to NOT test before next weekend. I have a cupboard full of cheap tests that call me each morning demanding to be used - I can't give them to someone to look after for a week as no one knows, and I've got zero will power - any tips.

Sorry for the uncertainty, MrsD - and v good luck with the wait.
