Confusion with ovulation signs??!!

Can anyone help me understand my own body?! I am watching for all the signs of ovulation as TTC and am so confused with it all. So here goes....I get copious amounts of EWCM (ugh sorry!) as soon as my AF has finished which is usually on day 6 -8 of my cycle. So you would think that this would indicate ovulation no? That maybe I am one of those who ovulates early in the month. But the OTK are negative at this stage. Then I get a few days of ovulation pains, no EWCM and still a negative (bordering on positive result) from my OTK's after day 13 ish. So am I to assume that the pains are more of an indication than anything else? I haven't a clue when I actually ovulate as the OTK's never give a heavy blue line.....

Bumping for you! Sorry no real answers except the usual relax and try not to think so hard about it all. My Dr told me make love 2-3 times a week and relax! Easier said than done I know! Good luck

Not much of great use to say except I've had exactly the same thing - EWCM straight after the end of AF last month, then I had a scan about 6 days later on CD12 that showed a follicle about to release an egg. i didn't actually ov to till about 6 days later, so all i can say is that perhaps CM and ov don't always happen at the same time. It's a mystery!! Only solution is to keep on bding to cover all bases...!! Exhausting!
