I am bloated, and feel tearful, and right now very irritable. To top it off my back has just started hurting, which is a sure sign of imminent AF.

I only had the implant removed this month, so should not have even thought it would occur so soon, but I knew when I ovulated, so should have had AF at the weekend, and got so excited. Fool.

(hormonal)

I think I know how you feel...Not being pregnant is hell for me too! Hormones are evil! They can play cruel tricks on our minds. I hope it wont be long before it happens for you

pavlovthecat · 10/02/2009 11:27

Loula -thanks for posting - i was feeling particularly hormonal yesterday and a tad annoyed, which I really shouldn't. I have a DD, and there are so many people here who have been trying for such a long time, I have no right to feel annoyed this early. Just sort of convinced myself I was.

However, still no AF as I expected .

My first pregnancy I had all the usual AF signs x10, even started wearing a pad because I expected it imminently. Tested at 3 days late and got a BFP! Subsequent pregancies have not had such severe symptoms.

muffle · 10/02/2009 11:36

Ah I'm also in pre-AF limbo. Been TTC for a year and same as last time, hormones and cycle have gone haywire. Sometimes it's as if wishful thinking makes your body "hold on" and make your period late, not to mention the raft of imagined symptoms I've had every month.

But now, I think I've caught slapped cheek from DS, so it would be far better NOT to be pg and I want AF to get on with it and arrive, so I can have a large glass of red wine.

pavlovthecat · 10/02/2009 11:36

lionstar - with my first pg I had no signs at all, not AF signs, not pg signs, until 7 weeks, only thing was a missed period which I paid no attention to as they were eratic until 2 weeks late! Oh dear, I am now flitting between am I, arent I? I have gone to the loo 5 times just to check [blush[. Might have to just test, get it over with (that will bring AF on itself wont it).

muffle · 10/02/2009 11:38

You could always do a test!

muffle · 10/02/2009 11:39

x-posted! Yes testing brings on AF approx half an hour later I find.

yellowflowers · 10/02/2009 11:44

Hi pavlov - I am not pregnant either. grrrr. Feel your pain and annoyance. x

pavlovthecat · 10/02/2009 21:25

Thanks yellow,

I have stomach cramps and brown spotting so know AF is imminent its just taking its goddam time, and the longer it takes the longer I will have that 'ooooh maybe' when I know I am not. DH thinks I am mad/obsessed. He is right.

Had a bath, feel a bit better and more accepting.

WinkyWinkola · 10/02/2009 21:47

Pavlov, I know exactly how you feel. I'm so hacked off today. And I know what's coming. So does DH. After three months of TTC I'm already obsessed and convinced I'm infertile.

However, I know it's better to forget about it and just get on with stuff. As best one can.

loulabell07 · 11/02/2009 10:15

Hi Pavlov, Just wondering how you are today? And was it AF afterall? I'm rooting for you!

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 10:38

Hey Loula - its AF, unfortunately. Its still mostly brown and vague enough for me to think 'ooooooh?' but no, its starting to change a little, slightly heavier than yesterday (sorry tmi, but did expect it to be 'fresher' and heavier than yesterday) and I am pretty sure now that its AF . Oh well. Next month eh? Thanks for checking though, appreciate it!

My fingers remain tightly crossed for you!

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 14:55

Thanks, you too for this month coming. Its def AF.

PussinJimmyChoos · 11/02/2009 15:03

I'm on the TTC wagon now too!!!

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 16:33

Long time no speak! How is your DH? We apparently are not trying, just not using contraception, according to DH !!!!!

OP posts:
PussinJimmyChoos · 11/02/2009 17:18

thats what DH says too! He says 'I don't want to know when you are ovulating as it takes the fun out of it'...I'm like well if I come on to you mid cycle then, don't tell me you are too tired or whatever or I'll have to say 'but I'm ovulating...pmsl!! First month of seriously trying though so...I was ok with waiting after all what happened with MIL but DH seems keen...we shall see

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 21:14

That is exactly what DH says - I shall be wondering over to the Nov thread at some point (probably in a moment ) as I am definitely not pregnant now. I am in bed with the most horrendous stomach ache and head is thumping and I feel all out of sorts. I do not even fancy the phish food I bought to comfort eat.

Hope DS is good, we need to meet next time you are here. DD would love to see DS.

OP posts:
princessmel · 11/02/2009 21:18

Have you done a test yet??

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 21:31

Princessmel - no test. I was holding out as I felt I was due AF, but also convinced myself as I was late it was not so. No need now. I am very much experiencing AF. In bed I feel so rotten (first proper one for 3.5 years? or so ). I am hoping to perk up enough for my Phish food. Been looking forward to it all day!

OP posts:
princessmel · 11/02/2009 21:45

Ok Pavlov

I want to Mn in bed. Lucky you. Dh doesn't like me taking the laptop to bed...

pavlovthecat · 11/02/2009 21:54

ah, you see. There are several reasons why DH has let me. 1. I am grumpy. 2. He is watching footie . 3. I promised he could have some phish food!

I can do it once in a while, when circumstances allow.

loulabell07 · 13/02/2009 09:49
